DAY 4: The student examples are a great tool. I have have used them in my mini lessons to introduce a skill or reinforce the teaching point. #Rockwoodwrites

DAY 3: Knowing the teaching point and planning ahead is huge. My students and I had a conversation about the lesson being under 12 minutes. There have been times where I simply stop my lesson and tell the authors to begin writing! #RockwoodWrites

This is one of the best reasons... the confidence levels of authors in each and every classroom seems to grow. Conferring I think goes along way with this. #rockwoodwrites #tcrwp

The mindset shift from “I’m not good at writing” to “I wanted to keep going!” This shows a change in the confidence level of students as they write. Every student has a voice and writing is a powerful way for those voices to be heard. #RockwoodWrites #TCRWP

A little late, but I want to give a much deserved thank you to @BablerPrincipal and @missyparker14 for our room service on Friday! We are so lucky to have such amazing leaders!

I had the wonderful experience of attending the MACTE conference and learning from other educators! Being recognized by Lindenwood University as an Outstanding Beginning Teacher is truly an honor. Celebrating with my good friend @MissWhitchurch made it even better.
