My 12yo is begging YA dystopian romance recs. She loves Hunger Games and The Selection but was not a fan of Divergent. She wants strong female MCs and plots heavy on romance. She dislikes fantasy but loves myth/fairy tale reimaginings. Bonus points for series vs standalone.

My 5 stars reads of 2024 I tried to slim it down to a top ten but I read so many books that it was pretty much impossible. I loved every single book featured here.
