Thinking about how Burnham was blocked from standing in G&D cos they wanted to "preserve much-needed party funds for the locals", then they spent those funds going through the bins of Green candidates and only commenting on the actual Nazi in Reform after the results were in

Well that's day 3 of the party with 402 MPs being mad at the party with 5 MPs for not doing everything they can to help stop the party with 8 MPs from having 9 MPs and thus inevitably becoming the government through no fault of the aforementioned 402 MP party.

@rdg_elliott There is literally nothing stopping the current Labour party from doing these "radical policy" things. If they're not doing them now, why would they support Burnham doing them. Why wouldn't another leadership candidate propose them.

I wrote to my Labour MP asking him not to support any progress on Digital ID, and he responded with "we're reducing the voting age, stronger relationship with EU, fixing public services". It's just pathetic.

The only reason Greens should even consider not contesting the by-election is if Burnham were to make some clear guarantees that he is in absolutely no position to make. And if he did they shouldn't believe him anyway.
