@Coach_Spilo Also cooperation between opposing teams before and during the scrim help players to think about partners in less of an ego way, if it makes sense. Narrowing down practice focus is shifting it to "we're working on specific stuff, they're working on specific stuff".

@Coach_Spilo I feel like the bigger problem is that its harder to organize productive, useful goal-driven scrims (consider teams relative strength, playstyles to prac against, maps) when you're having an external scrim partner. Solving that -> minimizing reinforcement issues

Been thinking, and I feel that the scrimmage training structure of Pro Overwatch is a huge blessing and a curse. Scrimmages are phenomenal at putting together and training a lot of different facets under pressure, but it involves a lot of ego into training which is a problem.

@natterOW @Noukky There are some professional qualities that can not be evaluated properly during the short trial period. One of the reasons is not being able to simulate actual situation they got to work on (pressure, etc).

@Noukky Sure, but then the management is assuming the other options don't have that specific skillset... Which I think is a bad assumption, you should at least talk to the person.

@Bulle_ow Wasnt really thinking about that much, but i can see a point that if less things can be solved by the team synergy, then there can be more necessity to counterpick (to mirror for example). So both skill and ability to flex are mandatory in that case. But idk, just a thought

Debate: OW2 with OTP players or flexible players? And I hear everywhere, players have to be flexible. but IMO: 5vs5: -team play, -strats, + individual skill So why ? (i see only that next season will be on a early build and maybe not balanced)
