News that @sainsburys have acquired 10 Homebase stores and plan to convert into supermarkets helps them spread their reach and many of the locations are really good - what's the future for @Homebase_uk though ?

Saddened to receive an email yesterday (25.10.23) that Professor Dennis Lord passed away last week. Dennis was a geography professor at UNC Charlotte until his retirement. He spent a sabbatical at @StirUni @stirIRS in the 1980s and remained a friend thereafter.
