The second Phase of the Ondoa Kaunda Classrooms initiative, which includes the establishment of 161 modern Early Childhood Development (ECD) classrooms across all 40 wards, under the leadership of @gladyswanga Awiti would literally ask "Udwani abi anyiedh e dhodu.

H.E. the Deputy Governor Hon. Dannish Onyango today represented H.E. Governor Gladys Wanga at the annual BMU Convention. The event also marked the official opening of the County BMU Network SACCO offices. The County Government and the BMU Network have partnered to co-manage fisheries and lake resources for sustainable fishing and ecosystem conservation. This collaboration has driven significant transformation in the fisheries sector, including the construction of modern fish bandas, improvement of sanitation facilities and effective revenue collection mechanisms, interventions that continue to strengthen livelihoods while advancing Homa Bay’s blue economy agenda.

Led by Governor FCPA Ahmed Abdullahi, Chairperson of the Council of Governors, we gathered in Buuri, Meru County to mourn with the family of Ms. Mary Mwiti, the CEO of the @KenyaGovernors, as they laid to rest their beloved matriarch Mama Josephine Kagwiria Guantai. Mama Josephine will be remembered for her steadfast service to the Church, community service and promotion of family values, virtues that defined her children, including Ms Mwiti who has served CoG with utmost dedication and efficiency. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
