@Zirene @wowclassicdevs @Artemishowl_ hey guys, seeing as the Grobbulus server is the only PvP server in the whole world for mop, is there any way we can get layers disabled? We’re showing only around 5k active players rn but with 3 layers and it’s making the server feel empty!

@Zirene Hey there! There’s a buff that gives a 30% damage buff in pandaria from a quest mob in town long steppes called an Osul Spitfire by putting a ring of fire on the ground but it’s supposed to fall off after the ring goes away, but it doesn’t. (1/x)

@Lord_Dipso @wowclassicdevs @Zirene the exploits continue - terrain hacking now to safe rez below horde shrine. Same guild continues to use cheap tactics and game exploits. Can't just play the game.

If a warrior goes through it with heroic leap for example it’ll stay permanently. This is effectively 30% damage buff in pandaria. Anyway there’s a mass wpvp guild on the grobbulus server having all their players get this exploit and attacking horde shrine. @wowclassicdevs

Everyone so far seems on board so I think I can just reveal my plan so far and you can take this opportunity to yell at me. For the US - All PvP realms become PvE and closed to new characters. Sorry, your 100% Horde/Alliance realm isn't a PvP realm, lets stop pretending. I'll open Free Character Moves from all realms to one single destination realm, we add a boatload of hardware to that realm and let the chaos commence. At the same time, Grobbulus-US is a faction balanced and enforced realm, I'll open FCMs from the old-ex PvP realms to Grob, if you want to actually PvP that will be an option for you. Warning, there are actually two factions on this PvP realm, beware. This specific link might turn on and off for each faction as we monitor faction balance on Grob. For the EU - All realms go PvE (there isn't a single PvP realm in EU that isn't 100% one faction), we open transfers to one single mega realm destination. EU does still have a few healthy FR, DE and RU realms, we'll have those merge into one each. We could merge these into a single realm as we did in SoD/Anni but will likely wait and see on this one for community reaction. KR/TW - Not forgotten, just already condensed. I'm also looking at bringing in the date that we use for name consolidation so that as many names are available on the destination realm as possible.

Ok, thanks to @Artemishowl_ badgering I'm looking at Classic MoP realm health options. Overall things look healthy, couple of small outliers, but I do see the opportunity for something spicy and so far everyone seems to be on board, not realm connections sadly. While we did originally intend and plan on connecting up all the Classic realms for you the never ending stream of WoW caught up with us and we no longer have the bandwidth to pull those off. Hypothetically, after our success running the entire of Season of Discovery and Anniversary on effectively one realm, what would you think about the entire of MoP Classic living on one giant realm? Hypothetically.

@oz_kenobi @Ganlord1 To clarify, we would move them to a different spot on the wall in the future. Just out of the rooms. The Alliance room is very rough and caused bugs for years.

MoP Classic PvP Vendor Update: The fix for the PvP vendors has not been sticking when new layers spin up, so we've created copies of these vendors and have moved them to the Shrines for Horde and Alliance on the 2nd story. Your maps should now show their new location instead of on the Wall.
