Just sold vibefa.st to the awesome @ozanmakes
Cool guy, super chilled to work with
Best of luck mate, remember me when you’re a millionaire!

@QuinnyPig @jeffbarr It was inevitable they would get it right; they just had to try everything else first.

@jeffbarr This feels like a potential turning point in AWS's approach to bill surprises, and I'm very much here for it.
Looking forward to learning more; while we all wait, let's look at this image that sparked my 3-year-old's absolutely favorite joke.

Thank you to everyone who brought this article to our attention. We agree that customers should not have to pay for unauthorized requests that they did not initiate. We’ll have more to share on exactly how we’ll help prevent these charges shortly.

@thorstenball I missed these and it slowed me down:
- Git interface
- Stack of webdev extensions beyond language support
- Emacs keybindings
- Cursor.so like AI features

This is why React’s default to <form action> being POST irritates me so much.
GET forms are awesome, and the kids may never know.
Still gonna try to reverse this in Remix’s RSC.
Matt Wood@mattwoodco
HTML forms are to mutate, not fetch. The default method is a POST. A GET happens when you load the page or revalidate.

I started using @DataflareApp as my SQL database manager. Super high quality app, recommended 💯.
It supports libsqlite and @tursodatabase as well!

@karpathy I use Cloudflare Pages. Ticks all your boxes and probably among the cheapest & most reliable options.

I remember visiting my friend’s websites. They were ugly and quirky and it was awesome. You wondered who’d stop by yours. They were a labor of love and a medium of self-expression, not your LinkedIn.
We can fight this.

@garrynewman Good to know I will still have a career writing unsafe C and killing processes

@5harath @arvidkahl Don't feel bad about it. Being in the trenches during this gold rush, working night and day in SF for the glory, it's all very exciting. And I don't blame founders for looking for people who can "fully commit".
I prefer a calmer environment and accept the tradeoffs.

This is HUGE! The new (experimental) runtime API unlocks the ability to delegate server code execution to `workerd`.
Massive step towards closing the dev/prod gap with @Cloudflare & @vite_js .

@SaadBencherif10 try Orion or Safari and you’ll also remember your battery can last more than two hours

@IronBrands16 From my recent searches, buying a €1400 a month house in Leiden costs around €350k. Amsterdam's rental price vs purchase price ratio sounds bonkers
English

🏡Interesting real estate dynamics:
🇳🇱My rent in Amsterdam (incl.) = €1800
🇿🇦 Airbnb in Cape Town (incl.) = €1700
If I want to buy my place in Amsterdam i’d need to pay around 750K - 850K
Buy a similar place in Cape Town, its 200K - 300K
Feels like an opportunity💡
Then again stability, political stuff etc.
