@jonathontoon @gingerbeardman @virtuatoon I did Sudoku widgets ~15y ago: * Difficulty is purely due to the pattern of clues * The numbers 1-9 can be shuffled * Square shift, rotation, and mirror all preserve validity Combined with a couple of patterns, and solved grid you get millions of valid and diverse grids 🤷😉

@withgraphite @xypress0 @nullvoxpopuli Appreciate the work to improve code review tooling. Really. At Opera we used Critic, with some features still unmatched today. Anyhow 35k is still feels like a small sample size to draw conclusions about large companies.

@xypress0 @nullvoxpopuli Agreed that you could not infer that by looking at strictly public GitHub data. Luckily we did not do that! We used the repos auth'ed with Graphite, which includes over 35k engineers at "serious companies" 😉

Over the last year: TypeScript usage declined by a whopping 14% at companies with 100+ engineers. At startups the story was completely different 🧵

This graphics demo contains less bytes than the URL of this twitter post. Clocking in at just 256 bytes of WebAssembly, it contains a wave simulation, sky + water shaders, transparency, vignettes, etc. The trick of adjusting the color pallet by direct memory manipulation is quite interesting. I look forward to more WASM demoscenes in the future.

@stefanjudis We already have a dep on Playwright for our tests, so adding Puppeteer is mostly bloat. ... Unless we can make Puppeteer point to a browser on disk now, and reuse the ones installed by PWT

@p01 Why would PWT save the large dep? The browser has to come somewhere or? 🤔
