@tailsxsu @r3000jazz @facedevstuff I've only just learned of this situation, but from what I can tell, Enderman is Russian. YouTube stopped paying out to Russian AdSense accounts, so I'd venture to guess that that's what he's talking about here. You need an AdSense account registered elsewhere.

YouTube terminating somebody's 9 year work without reason is absolutely unacceptable I've been hearing about Enderman's work since I was a kid, back when I'd sit by the window secretly using my neighbors' Wi-Fi on my mom's phone to watch Romanian YouTubers trying viruses. To see somebody go out like this is saddening, and I really hope Enderman's channel can finally get stopped from being relentlessly bullied by YouTube's content moderation system.

2016-2025 These 9 years will always remain dear to me. All the connections I've made, all the fun I've had making the videos. This is not going down the drain. The only hope for this YouTube channel is a divine human intervention amidst all the AI business.

Why even bother sending that email? The post @TeamYouTube replied to had these same exact quotes. Why pretend like I'm getting a different answer? Circus. I've been through this countless times now, and every single time they avoid accountability by pasting prewritten scripts.

This has to be some terrible joke. It took 5 days since my video's takedown until I found a way to talk to a human, only for them to drop all accountability. @TeamYouTube I genuinely no longer feel safe posting on your platform. Do you employ anyone who doesn't follow a script?

@ninfinity1_ @TeamYouTube These things and more were all addressed in my "carefully reviewed" appeal. I'm being told that despite my defense, their judgement made no mistake.

@p2r3_ @TeamYouTube The "harmful or dangerous content" part makes me think that they either saw doom as too violent (which I doubt) or they thought you were programming a virus (maybe they thought it downloads itself onto people's computers?)

@Galea011 @TeamYouTube @YouTube At some point I do feel like I have to throw in the towel, at least for this project. It's just that YouTube has this fucked monopoly in audience and infrastructure. There's no way to realistically attract new viewers elsewhere.

@p2r3_ @TeamYouTube I genuinely think at this point it's worth jumping ship. Keep the fight up, sure, but I would happily pay a £1 or so subscription on Patreon or the likes if there were enough of us to make it worth your time. Pretty sure @YouTube ad revenue sucks ass anyway.

For the record, they just sent me a "case ID" and told me to wait for an e-mail. I can't fathom this going any differently from the last soulless email exchange. I'd say "here's hoping", but I've lost the strength to hope.

As @matthew_lugg put it: Can I have more details? "No, no. But it's all correct. We promise." Can I know the reasoning? "Of course not! But we did it right. Pinky-promise!" Can I know if these are user reports? "Nope! But we're very careful, don't worry."

Oh, by the way, the related Short (which is just a summarized version of the full video) is still up. Granted, it has almost no views, but the re-upload was taken down instantly- when it had just 2.3K views.

The lack of responsiveness, too... They offered an e-mail exchange, a DM conversation- none of that took place. Maybe I'm impatient, but the month is over halfway and I can't afford to just pause my work for this long without consequence.

So, um, @TeamYouTube - about those next steps? I've followed your account, my DMs are open, I'm looking forward to finally clearing this case up.
