Today I got a call from my school principal.😅 Back in school, she was extremely strict. Since I was not good in academics, I was honestly scared of her… and like most students, we even hated her for that strictness. At that time, it felt like she was just being too hard on us. But today, when she called and appreciated my success and the journey I’ve had, I could hear genuine happiness in her voice. It felt exactly like the happiness of a parent. And it made me realize something important: not everyone who is strict with you is against you. Some people are strict because they see potential in you that you can’t see in yourself. They push you, discipline you, and sometimes make you uncomfortable so that one day you can reach your highest level. As kids, we often hate our teachers for being strict, but with time you understand that many of them were only trying to shape you into a better person. That’s why people say teachers are like parents. They may be tough on you, but deep down they truly want to see you win in life. 😇
