Highly toxic chemicals like lead, mercury, PFAS, TCE and BPA do not belong in food. We shouldn't be exposed to toxic chemicals at any level, especially these toxic chemicals that are common in the food supply chain. #WhereIsFDA NEW blog⬇️ blogs.edf.org/health/2024/04…

Last year, a chemical disaster happened nearly every day in the U.S. It doesn't have to be this way. Stronger rules and better enforcement can help prevent toxic chemical pollution & protect our health so that all communities can thrive. @project_descend bit.ly/3wABq1F

Look all the facilities emitting millions of pounds every year of the EPA's highest priority toxic chemicals that are linked to cancer, developmental harm and asthma are outside the Arrow chemicalactionmap.edf.org

Ever wonder what chemicals are being made & released in your community? EDF’s new Chemical Exposure Action Map shows some of the most toxic & the health harms they cause. Interact with the data, then send a note to @EPA to encourage stronger protections: chemicalactionmap.edf.org

Our new map and action tool is out! See your community’s potential risks from some the most toxic chemicals, and send a letter to EPA to urge them to look at these chemicals cumulatively:
EDF@EnvDefenseFund

We need a better way to measure risks from toxic chemicals. That’s why EDF developed the Chemical Exposure Action Map so you can see releases of toxic chemicals that cause multiple health harms – & drive meaningful action. Use this tool & urge @EPA to act: chemicalactionmap.edf.org

There's a huge case being heard in the Supreme Court today that will affect the future of regulations! If this doctrine is overturned, more decision-making power will be taken away from experts (like those at EPA) and instead will be given to politicians in Congress.
Bloomberg Law@BLaw

On January 17, the Supreme Court will hear oral argument in combined cases that could significantly weaken a legal doctrine that has been a cornerstone of US administrative law for four decades. Here's what you need to know about the Chevron doctrine ⬇️

Want to help ban a truly terrible chemical? Watch our new video to see why #TCE is so toxic—then go send a message to @EPA that you support their efforts to ban all uses of TCE—ASAP! #TakeAction #BanTCENow

When I started researching “advanced recycling,” I was surprised to see that one of a handful of US facilities is in NC, close to where I grew up. I started looking into it. What I found was…troubling, to say the least. theintercept.com/2023/09/28/bra…

@Jodie_Boisvert Yes, I don’t think I read a single book in grad school! I didn’t pick up a book for almost a year after defending, and becoming a library member has really started getting me back into reading about a book or two a month

I used to love to read. Now I'm in my Phd, and I read so much for school. The last thing I want to do is read more. So, I veg out in front of the TV. Anyone else temporarily lose your love of reading when you are in your PhD? I hope to go back to reading for fun when I graduate.
