'@p_chatterjee (@ShivNadarUniv) & NCAER faculty @aakash_dev94 gave a talk on their paper titled 'Low Labor Force Participation Rate: Macroeconomic and Household Factors in a Search Model' at the Centre for Development Economics, Delhi School of Economics on Thu, 7 Nov 2024. In this paper, Chatterjee & Dev set up a computable macro job search model in the context of emerging economies, particularly India. They explore the role of macroeconomic factors and time use dynamics in explaining low labour force participation.
