now the wiki article being cited here is slightly wrong, because the letter “F” does not exist in our language. Prior to Manuel Quezon, it was always “Pilipino” with a “P” bc P exists in our language.
SO HOW DID IT BECOME FILIPINO??

a non-filipino trying to lecture filipinos. filipinx is a western invention. to say “filipino” is only tied to colonial framing of feminine/masculine is to erase the fact that gender-neutral lenses in language/role/identity have long existed in our islands even before the Spanish
