@NYNJHarper The years at 3rd prepared him well. Always thought he would be a good defensive first basemen w the arm, now just has to work on his footwork and he can be a real asset.

Baty getting a lot of love for force-out play in the 11th, and rightly so, but earlier Vientos made a key play at 1B as well, nailing runner at plate w/quick throw. Impressed with how much Vientos has improved defensively. Started that great DP Sunday. Throws are strong./true.

@DonaldBidenUSA Explain colin houck and kevin parada. Not to mention that Stearns would’ve been hired as POBO regardless if eppler got suspended. Not defending Stearns but saying there’s two sides to every coin. Mets need a GM to oversee MLB roster, Stearns has done a fine job on the farm
