Yo a favor. El tema es que el sensacionalismo suele ganar. Ya se ve con el anti-data centers. Mi teoría es que en tech están todos muy tranquis hasta que haya ataques más frecuentes contra oficinas/empleados. Luego desaparecerá eso de llevar la mochila de BigTech/FrontierLab por la calle.

An underrated part of rejoining Google is the fact that your stuff is still there, frozen in time. "What's the value in seeing your old calendar?" you ask... Well, for silly sentimental things like when I put a reminder to myself for my first date with the woman who would become my wife, for example. Or the time off taken for my wedding, honeymoon, and the birth of my kids. It's like I never left. I'm not crying, I'm just chopping onions for a lasagne for one...

Based on my observations in Zürich: they know them at the fancy cafe/restaurant since they were a kid and are welcomed very warmly. Loro Piana or similar but no logos visible. Volvo XC90 and 911 convertible. Good posture at all times. They are thin and fit for their age.

one of my favorite things about Italian industry is they clearly have an exceptional amount of technical skill, but seem to only put it in service of the most frivolous, over-the-top inventions like i saw a video about MullerOne, a device invented in Italy to humanely extract the goo from snails, which is apparently quite good for the skin (traditional methods involve stressing the snail out until they goo more, but the inventor noted that they also goo when they're more relaxed and happy, so he made a snail-heaven-machine) but the amount of R&D needed for such a machine was probably immense. all in the service of snail goo

Someone told me years ago that among the proper wealthy in Zürich, driving a luxury car in the city is seen as a low class signal if the plate is from a different canton. Apparently it signals you aren't *that rich* if you can't afford to live in the city.
