@CmonMattTHINK Since the domain is compact, the image in any continuous function would be compact. If you want a bijection you'll unfortunately need a discontinuos function.

I just wrote a problem that started, "Suppose that g is a one-to-one function with domain [-2,4] and range [0,oo)." But then I tried to sketch the graph of such a function and... got a little stuck! Does such a function exist? 🤔
