Sources told @ClutchPoints that Giannis Antetokounmpo has been in Milwaukee over the last week. This doesn't mean he was in meetings with the Bucks and Taylor Jenkins, but it also doesn't mean that he wasn't. Sources close to the situation declined to comment on the matter.

Legitimately crazy that reddit narratives of his 'baiting' led to other orgs passing up on him. Glad BIG were the ones that snatched him up when it was possible and that he's helped them to the Major. Many other orgs today look on realizing they're the ones that missed out.

@MischiefCS2 100%. And most of it is from bad actors who don't even try to understand despite being years in, some of whom get hired to work events where being able to know the basics of the system should be a basic job requirement. It's really not that hard to have a basic understanding!

Is it a hot take to say I think the VRS cut off is just as if not more exciting as a RMR/Minor qualification? Sure I miss the pop offs from the team when they would get that final win but the mad scramble teams make to t2 events is wonderful

@aizyesque @hawka_cs ah yes the goated RMRs where Vitality could theoretically not qualify for the major despite being untouchable all season long and frauds like Faze that won 3 lan matches would have to lock in for one swiss group to go to the major. 1/2

I'm sorry but MIBR and Liquid have flip-flopped like 4 times today (Liquid are back ahead now btw) VRS system is too hard to understand. Hardcore fans can barely keep up, and I dread to think how confused casual's are

@smartbackwards I mean we essentially already have this. There aren't teams who are making stage 2 on only tier 2 results. Monte have wins over NaVi, PARI, NRG, M8s, NiP and have been good all season. The teams who are qualifying mostly through open LANs are going to 90% all be in stage 1.

Not having FaZe at a Major just feels...wrong. But there is no excuse whatsoever. Just a horrendous season by any standards. Just save my boy Frozen. Or do a complete rehaul. Coz something is fundamentally broken.

@ThomasCS__ I think an ideal system would be primarily VRS based but also having a last chance qualifier of sorts (on LAN) for the last 2-4 spots. That way the best teams in the season would still be rewarded while giving chances to more teams on the fringe to earn it + it'd be exciting.

I feel like the qualification method for the major still feels wrong to me, I think it’s because I prefer the open quals into the RMR’s (viewing wise) 💔 These t2 events having so much weight feels like an anti climax when teams qual 🤨 thoughts?
