Yesterday a Downers Grove 4th grade Girl Scout troop made and donated toiletry bags, snack bags, and cards that were added to backpacks to be delivered to people who are homeless. Thank you for supporting The Backapck Project! #packthekindness

Backpacks were delivered to the Addison Police Department today to be kept in their squad cars and with their social worker for when they encounter people who are homeless in the community. #packthekindness

Today The Backpack Project dropped off a new supply of backpacks filled with necessities to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department. Backpacks are given to people who are homeless who come into the ED. #packthekindness

On Saturday and Sunday The Backpack Project partnered with @OfficialChiCare to deliver backpacks with supplies and warm meals to hundreds of people who are living unhoused in Chicago. #packthekindness

With the Chicago area experiencing frigid temperatures, The Backpack Project delivered 100 backpacks filled with cold weather essentials, toiletries, food, and gift cards to the Department of Family and Support Services to be distributed at a warming center. #packthekindness

Yesterday we partnered with Chi-Care to deliver 75 meals & backpacks to people who are homeless. We joined Chi-Care on a weekly route delivering meals to get backpacks to those in need. Thank you to all those who support The Backpack Project and Chi-Care! #packthekindness
