@OnTheSlipRoad @RestoreBritain_ And don’t forget the Proms!
English

@RestoreBritain_ Funny how these boys and Reform / Restore only look at 5% of the BBC’s output. Anyone would think they don’t like drama, documentaries, educations content, children’s content, radio, podcasts, history, culture and science 🤷♀️
English
@dpcoverdale It was brilliant. I was listening from the south coast. And to add to it, Adam Hinshelwood’s new club Worthing FC won the National League South and are promoted to the National League.

@pacoverdale @SussexTW Tomorrow
English
@RowanWalters133 @mitchellsnik The key phrase is “over time”. They take months to degrade so are still a danger to wildlife.
English
This is not the way to remember them. Balloons do not disappear, they are just litter. They come back to Earth and cause harm to wildlife. Please everyone do not release balloons! Plant trees instead, blow bubbles. #BalloonReleases
Holderness & Hornsea Gazette@HoldernessNews
Hundreds of schoolchildren released pink balloons this lunchtime for Grace and Sarah Keeling, who were tragically swept away by the sea at Withernsea just after the new year. The funeral of the daughter and mother from Nottinghamshire took place today. Pupils and teachers at Quarrydale Academy in Sutton-in-Ashfield fell silent as the cortège stopped, so they could say an emotional final farewell. 📷 John Prince

@EdwardJDavey @Jgs_x Thank you Ed. I love the BBC & pay my licence fee along with millions of others. We would lose so much culture without the BBC - the Proms, the orchestras and choirs and the brilliant radio. Vile GB News does not represent me.

@Johnnypapa64 I had that yellow Clairol hairdryer for years! Loved Woolies. I’ve still got lots of stuff I bought there.
English
@SeasideFerry @brightdome I was in the Dome this afternoon sharing my memories with the volunteers of school speech days and musical events I’ve been in and seen. I didn’t see you or your stall! I’m sorry I missed you.
English

After this afternoon's talk @brightdome I can now say I've performed on the same stage as ABBA! It's a fantastic venue with lots of architectural heritage 😍

English
@PaintingsLondon I loved it. Had a “Rear Window” feel.
English
@josephattard02 Banksy is wrong. Judges in Britain don’t use gavels.
English
@RickyHale_ One glaring error. Judges in Britain don’t use gavels.
English
@abctje6 @DowntonAbbey Is that Raquel Cassidy who plays Miss Baxter, or should it be Mrs Molesley?
English
@Arbitrash14 @LBFlyawayhome Sounds lovely.
English

@LBFlyawayhome We had one of those. My father glassed it over, then painted fish on card cut them out, did same plants and rocks then hung them up on the kitchen side. Our own aquarium. I loved it. There was always slight movement.
English
@BrightonHoveBus The driver on the Jacky Harding 5B bus has just driven off leaving at least 5 people at the Braybon Ave top stop. They are furious. He didn’t wait for them to get on. It was about 12.35 pm.
English
@Johnnypapa64 He’s also brilliant in The Red Shoes, a Powell and Pressburger film.
English
@mrmarksteel No one has mentioned that the folk musician Aly Bain was born in Lerwick. Oh, and the knitwear….
English
@jilltowers My mum calls it a “four nag”. A Sussex term maybe?
English
@DreyfusJames I loved the fact that it displayed messages round the top, such as, “congratulations. It’s a boy” for a royal birth.
