Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

That was my first question because I've seen it go off just as he's either about to eat something or preparing to jab. I think it just happened so quickly.
I know his diabetic nurse popped around because they saw it on their end and wanted to check.
No shade at the monitor here, it's marvellous and my friend said getting it just completely transformed him being able to keep things well under control, plus an end to the daily finger pricking.

So I have a friend in hospital who almost died yesterday due to an incompetent nurse.
He's an insulin dependent diabetic, but a poster boy for managing it, he's not in because of that
Gets prescribed tablets, there's two variations and one isn't suitable for his diabetes but the doctor knows this.
Nurse comes round to dish them out. Now they're small and he needs a very high dose so nurse announces that's far too many pills to count out and says she'll get bigger ones.
His blood sugar spiked to 30 so quickly his monitor didn't even get time to go off before he collapsed. 30 is a very short time from dying. He's OK now but was shaky for a day or two.
He had to demand the doctor unlock the drawer and check the tablets, the nurse had brought the wrong ones. I'd guess he had the small ones to begin with because that was the only size in stock.
So a brush with death because a nurse couldn't be bothered to count out pills.
Nobody even apologised.
