i can't draw every day nor do i want to. i need time to recover after completing a piece. otherwise the following pieces all come out looking empty and soulless and i can't look at them again because im just not proud of them

@ozmodai ik server maintenance ain't free but i think giving people more time might even reduce the pressure on the servers as people won't have to rush in at once on july 1st

@ozmodai yeah that's true too. for this reason i think three months instead of one would be optimal. maybe one day we'll get there

tbh i wish artfight was a summer long event (june/july/august) so ppl could reasonably participate while balancing regular life and also without hurting themselves or burning out

@ozmodai More Artfight would be fun, but I also think the perceived line for “reasonable participation” comes from a feeling of art obligation, which I don’t think would be solved by making it longer More months means more defenses which means a higher bar for “reasonable participation”

@ozmodai tbh i just thought it was normal to only get like maybe 5-10 out max... imo this year people are taking the points too seriously and the constant posting is making it seem like there should be higher production than whats reasonable
