There is this wonderful movement going on in the Bay Area in response to COVID-19 called @paintthevoid.
Paint the Void commissions artists to paint boarded up window fronts, an effort to bring some life + color to our somber streets.

I won't stop writing, or looking at art when the opportunity arises again, but I will also work on a new skill (career #4?).

Today my retirement as art critic for @SFChronicle was announced. A credible 3rd career in art — 5 years, with 500+ pieces and some nice awards to show for it. But I can't bear spending precious time in a holding pattern, waiting for art to come back on public view.
