Sugarcane-based ethanol in India has a well-documented water and land-use footprint. "Clean at the tailpipe" and "clean overall" are not the same thing. The government is only telling you about the tailpipe.

@pairamblr @R_N_Vaghani Now let's understand this with mathematics, E20 fuel gives you less mileage so you need more fuel to cover same distance, more E20 fuel is basically more petrol too! And as fresh water supply is already low we might have to import ethanol too if the consumption rises!

Our national journey as an independent nation began on 15 August 1947. Instead of manufacturing records through semantic jugglery and headline management, the government should focus on addressing the challenges confronting the people. Obama delivered wonderful lecture on international strategy and wrote a great Op-ed on International strategy at they time in 2006 which was visionary and forward looking. And he had other great achievements to his credit. His mom did drop him in Washington on a Lamborghini.
