the reason it’s seen as “the standard” isn’t because it’s the only thing most people need, it’s like a 101 class. you can’t move on to algebra if you don’t understand basic addition. but it seems obvious to a lot of people so it feels pointless

it was extremely useful for me as an unmedicated teen when i couldn’t understand my abuse or my feelings and everything felt like chaos. but it only took about a year to figure out CBT and calm down and i quickly grew out of it and could move on to more helpful techniques

to be honest a lot of people will need CBT in their lives at specific times when they are overwhelmed or in crisis. it’s not necessarily designed for a type of person but a type of problem

AI hate is not organic. It is organized, amplified, and politically motivated. ChatGPT alone has around 1B users. That tells you everything. People are not being forced to use AI. They use it because it works. The outrage is manufactured. The adoption is real.
