I support Jesse’s mission… I don’t know much about him ..but if he’s for Waterloo, so am I.
@UWaterloo @McMasterU 🧠@UofT
Jesse Rodgers@jrodgers
Waterloo's fingerprints are on Instacart, Stripe, OpenAI, Nvidia. Mostly as the earliest engineers. We supply the engine. Not enough of the drivers. That's a pipeline gap. Not a talent gap. buff.ly/CUA4Hsz

@palebluenexus Bright color = better survival odds in sketchy areas? Makes total sense. Would you go yellow today or something even more unnatural like neon orange?

In 2009, I sent a cold email to Jim Rogers.
No warm intro. No connection. Just a young man who admired a legendary investor and hit send.
He replied.
We exchanged a handful of messages over the years. Nothing big. Just staying in touch. Keeping the thread alive.
17 years later, I asked him to be the first guest on our podcast.
He said yes.
Jim Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund with George Soros.
4,200% returns in 10 years.
Drove around the world. Twice.
Sold his $16M Manhattan home and moved his entire family to Singapore.
His reason? “If you were smart in 1807 you moved to London. If you were smart in 1907 you moved to New York. If you’re smart in 2007 you move to Asia.”
He’s 83 now.
Still in Singapore. Still making bets most people won’t understand for another decade.
We sat down and he said something that changed how I think about success.
It had nothing to do with money.

Open claw is still overrated.
Here's my hot take:
Everyone asks around how do you use it - why? Cause no one has a use case they find invaluable besides making dashboards or trying to arbitrage Polymarket.
Maintenance - I spend 80% of my time just keeping it online, remembering or fixing things. It forgets time and time again. Also sucks up all computer resources regularly.
All the posts about SEO optimization, how they have 15 AI employees, etc. Are from people not making money.
Token costs > Executive Assistant cost ($50 / hour). Turns out using better models and running tasks around the clock costs money. And trying to debug or explain things takes way longer than sending to my assistant (for now).
It hurt my X account. When I had it run my X and then check my X for stats - I got throttled since it looks like a bot (cause it IS a bot!) - didnt realize it for a week.
Every-single-person who's bragging about OpenClaw is mostly lying. When you ask them how it's really going it isn't as they seem.
Is it awesome and hugely potential, yes. Still someways to go...

Just a little reminder that BRC20’s have done $117 BILLION in total trading volume since they were launched in March of 2023 by @domodata 🔥
When BRC20 tokens were first deployed, they were hard to trade since liquidity pools did not exist on the Bitcoin mainnet 🟧⛏️
3 years later, BRC20’s are now easy to trade, and have liquidity pools thanks to goated visionary teams like @bestinslotxyz @yuzodotxyz @unisat_wallet 🏆🐐
BRC20 tokens generated over 1/10th of a TRILLION in cumulative trading volume before they ever had seamless trading, proper liquidity pools, or native AMMs on the Bitcoin mainnet🚀
I FIRMLY believe in BRC2.0 and the decentralized Bitcoin L1 economy being built on top of these programable fungible tokens🦾
I FIRMLY believe in $ORDI $GameFi $NUTKIN $WAIFUS $POTATO $CRYPTO $ORANGE and many other legacy BRC20 tokens like $SATS $MEME $PIZA $PEPE $RATS $PIZZA $HONK $CATS $BTCS $FIFA and many more🫡
Bullish on Bitcoin🍊
Bullish on Bitcoin defi💎
Bullish on BRC2.0👾
Bullish on first is first🐸
Bullish on free and fair🚀
Bullish on POW💥
Bullish on blockchain history📖
Bullish on $ORDI 🏆
Bullish on $GameFi 🎮
Believe in something.

Looking back ordinals were probably the funniest scam we’ve ever seen in gripto
Imagine:
>some random dude sees that people were willing to give up dollars for jpegs on eth
>thinks “hmm i bet i can get those same ppl to give up the most valuable form of currency ever created for more jpegs if i make up a good story”
>completely fabricates an entire protocol that has no relationship to bitcoin functionality and requires an entirely separate set of non-standard indexers and image renderers to even see the existence of
>tricks people into thinking they’re valuable because they’re “early” to something “new” ON BITCOIN in 2023 😂
>smart operators realize how dumb their counterparties still are and come in and make up a bunch of useless projects with useless jpegs and take your bitcoin
>and then they run it back again with fake ERC20 token imitations that are more difficult to use than reading braille while wearing oven mitts
Generational scam, only made possible bc of NFTs. We need a new batch of nft-style people with fresh money in crypto

We're kicking off a new initiative to curate on-chain parent/child and gallery inscriptions for Ordinals collections.
github.com/TheWizardsOfOr…
The goal is simple. Make collection data fully on-chain, not dependent on centralized JSON files.
The repo also includes legacy data from Magic Eden for collections with recent volume, making it easier for anyone to inscribe them as a gallery.
If you need help, have questions, or concerns, reach out.
