I love the natural world, and I love new #physics . I'm no scientist, but I ponder the nature of reality often. On a recent African safari, as I watched the sun set over the South African bush, I couldn't help but wonder how @donalddhoffman 's theory of our space and time as an interface could be married with the beautiful natural spectacle before me. Surely, this was the work of God? The sky, a canvas of blues and oranges, was this not a physical event, but a constructed perception? An evolutionary interface designed not for truth but for survival? Why such intricate beauty then? Why not a more conservative and less detailed interface, one which conserves energy in its construction? Here, in this moment, the vastness seemed to embrace me, perhaps an illusion meant to foster belonging or security. Each color, each shadow in the sky might be more about guiding my ancestors to rest or alertness than revealing the universe's true colors. Yet, in this interface, there's profound beauty, beauty beyond comprehension. It's difficult to reconcile that this magnificence may not be 'reality', but is crafted to make us feel, explore, and connect. (In which case, it worked!) In the dance of light and shadow, animal and plant is an invitation to look beyond what we see, to ponder what might truly be, and to appreciate the intricate, adaptive tapestry of human perception. I try to comprehend with my small human brain, but I think the best I can do is just... marvel and feel completely connected. ❤️ #Africa #nature

Donald Trump’s presidential library will be a 47-story skyscraper on Biscayne Bay — 47 floors for the 47th president. The lobby will house a full-sized Air Force One, fighter jets, helicopters, and a tank. A golden escalator leads to replicas of the Oval Office and the Rose Garden. A gold statue of Trump, fist raised — a permanent tribute to Butler, Pennsylvania. Florida’s Cabinet voted unanimously to donate 2.63 acres of prime Miami waterfront to make it happen. The foundation is raising $1 billion. Private. No taxpayer funding. No president has ever built anything like it — because no president has ever done anything like it.

Ready for another crazy Colorado bill? HB26-1309 will take away parents' rights & basic ability to raise their children. Under this bill, doing any of the following will make you a domestic abuser, as the state would now define it as "coercive control" and therefore, "domestic violence": ❌Tracking your child's location to make sure they're safe ❌"Regulating the individual's everyday behavior" ❌Stopping your child from seeing specific friends ❌Preventing your child from spending their money on an expensive toy ❌Taking away your child's phone for a week ❌Refusing to give your middle school daughter birth control ❌Trying to talk your daughter out of having an abortion ❌Telling your child they're too young to transition their gender ❌Much, much more... More in the video ⬇️

To be clear, this was a law that attempted to ban therapists from telling gender confused boys that they're actually boys, and girls that they're actually girls. It was literally a law prohibiting anyone in the therapy profession from verbally acknowledging biological reality to their clients. Easily one of the most psychotic pieces of legislation ever passed anywhere in the world at any time in history. The fact that Kentanji Jackson tried to uphold this law -- even as her fellow liberals broke ranks with her -- just proves again that she is the most unfit, unqualified, unhinged lunatic to ever hold a seat on the Supreme Court.

🚨 In an 8-1 vote, the Supreme Court holds that Colorado’s ban on “conversion therapy,” as applied to petitioner's talk therapy, violates the First Amendment because it constitutes viewpoint discrimination

Thomas More Society@ThomasMoreSoc

🚨 BREAKING: A federal court has ordered California to pay $4.52 MILLION in attorneys' fees in Mirabelli v. Bonta—our landmark parental rights case challenging California's policy of concealing children's gender transitions from their parents. Full details, court order, and reactions: thomasmoresociety.org/news/federal-c… "A $4.5 million fee award sends an unmistakable message to state governments and school districts across the country: if you trample the constitutional rights of parents, you will pay for it—literally," reacted @peterbreen. In an 8-page order, Judge Benitez granted the full fee petition and placed the blame squarely on California's own litigation strategy—detailing a pattern of "litigation intransigence," including repeated motions to dismiss after prior ones were denied, filing an appeal without waiting for the Court's ruling, and twice withdrawing arguments after they were "shown to be inarguably meritless." "California fought this case at every turn with meritless arguments and procedural gamesmanship... This order confirms that California’s decision to trample parental rights was not only unconstitutional, but costly. Every school district and government official is now on notice and should ensure full compliance with the Court’s injunction," reacted @PaulJonna. Judge Benitez also noted that California continues to resist the ruling even after its Supreme Court loss, litigating "based on the thinnest of arguments" and filing a motion to modify the very injunction SCOTUS reviewed and reinstated. Thomas More Society will continue to enforce Mirabelli nationwide. Any school district or state that tries to cut parents out of their children's lives should expect the same result.

He drives a school bus in Dallas, Texas. But the kids on his route call him something else — Dad. Every morning before the sun is fully up, Curtis Jenkins pulls his yellow school bus to the curb and waits. Not just to pick up kids. To see them. For seven years, Curtis noticed things other people missed. The little girl who folded her paper lunch bag perfectly every day but left it on the bus — because there was nothing inside. The boy whose shoes were too small. The kids who got on quiet, eyes down, carrying weight no child should have to carry alone. So Curtis did something simple. He made his bus a community. He gave every child a job — a greeter, an assistant, a "police officer" keeping order in the aisles. Every morning he'd call out, "We're going to care about each other and love everybody, right?" And 50 small voices would answer back. But it didn't stop there. Over the years, Curtis spent thousands of dollars of his own money — money he saved by skipping his own Christmas gifts with his wife — on birthday cards, bikes, backpacks, turkeys at Thanksgiving, and 70 hand-wrapped Christmas presents. He didn't buy random gifts. He asked each child what they wanted. Then he went and got exactly that. No donation page. No announcement. No cameras. When the story finally got out and people questioned how a bus driver could afford it, Curtis just smiled. "It doesn't take money. It takes discipline." But here's the part that will stay with you. When a reporter asked the kids what they loved most about Curtis — not one of them mentioned the gifts. A fifth grader named Ethan, whose parents had divorced when he was four, looked up and said quietly: "He's the father that I always wanted. In some ways, I wish my dad could have been like that." Curtis heard it. Didn't flinch. Just nodded. "That's the paycheck right there," he said later. "If I can get that, you can keep the money." He wasn't looking for a medal. He wasn't going viral on purpose. He was just a man who decided, every single morning, that his bus would be the safest place those kids walked into all day. Sometimes the person who changes a child's life forever isn't a teacher or a coach or a counselor. Sometimes it's the person behind the wheel of a yellow bus at 7 a.m. — who chose to show up, and chose to care, when nobody was asking him to. Tag someone who needs to read this today. 💛
