Just heard from Luke earlier… He said Streaky and Astronaut are in good form (Streaky’s foot has healed) so they will head off to the Championship in just under two weeks! Below taken from Astro’s last competition in Dec ‘25. #watchthisspace

Astronaut has qualified for the ROR Dressage Championship in a couple of weeks however his ex racer competition companion, Streaky (on the left), has injured his foot. If he can’t go, we will most likely stay put as travelling costs will be too costly.

Luke worked on medium trot today as it’s a requirement for Novice. Astronaut can maintain it a bit longer as he’s stronger and more balanced, but it’s challenging. He’s officially 10 years old this month!

Luke’s foot is getting better so he hopes to return to the saddle next week to get into competition mode. In the meantime, Charlotte is keeping Astronaut ticking over. I make sure he gets a post ride roll before turn out. #momager #TheShowMustGoOn
