@lady_valor_07 SPLC contributions were being used to pay informants embedded within extremist organizations like the KKK. That is the opposite of 'funding the KKK'. Facts vs. partisan spin.
@GuntherEagleman Estimate of state residence of illegal immigrants:
California: ~1.9–2.3 million
Texas: ~1.6–2.1 million
Florida: ~900,000–1.6 million
Looks like a couple of red states in the top 3 states which benefit from the census counting illegal immigrants in apportionment of House seats.
@rory_wings4u@Itx_judith If Iran had attacked us like Al Quida did on 9/11, NATO would have come to our aid as it did after 9/11.
It is a mutual DEFENSIVE organization, not an offensive one.
@Itx_judith No. NATO came to our aid after 9/11 by fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. It serves to keep peace in Europe by keeping Russia from invading as it did to Ukraine.
@1Nicdar Under 1996 welfare law, undocumented immigrants cannot enroll in full federal Medicaid, or Medicare.
Federal law requires hospitals to stabilize anyone, regardless of status. Medicaid reimburses hospitals for this care.
Some states use state-only funds to provide health care.
Hypocrites, liars, dumbasses, which isn’t remotely surprising.
It needs to be taken a step further and everyone who approved them to be on there or gave them the benefits need to be sent to prison.
Not jail, PRISON!
@C_3C_3 There have been criminal convictions in welfare, Medicaid, daycare, and hospice fraud cases. Those cases of fraud do not prove fraud in voting, any more than in policing, teaching, etc. Guilt by association. Nice!
So…
There’s Medicaid fraud but no voter fraud.
There’s welfare fraud but no voter fraud.
There’s daycare fraud but no voter fraud.
There’s hospice fraud but no voter fraud.
Everywhere we look there’s major fraud but no voter fraud?
Voter fraud allowed all the other frauds.
@GuntherEagleman Trump’s first administration saw the federal deficit rise by nearly $2 trillion per year, while Obama’s deficits averaged about $1.2 trillion per year.
We shall see what deficits are in Trump’s second term.
I'm sick of being called a racist because I don't want the America invaded by Islam.
I want it to be the America I remember.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
@AlanJacoby If that doesn’t happen, which conspiracy theory are you planning to spread. Or will it be a ‘combo meal’ of excuses. Perhaps another January 6 to prevent the ‘wrong team’ from gaining power in Congress?
@Sassafrass_84 Gas prices under President Joe Biden averaged roughly $3.60 per gallon for his term. Causes included post-pandemic demand recovery, OPEC production cuts, and the Russia-Ukraine war, rather than a single domestic policy. Geopolitical events are the dominant drivers of pump prices.
@FFT1776 That should 'piss off' anyone who cares more about the Constitution and the Rule of Law than about a cult of personality centered on a politician.
The US is not Russia, China, or North Korea. At least, I hope not.
@OneBadDude_ One pattern is that the highest Democratic vote totals come after 4 or 8 years of a Republican administration. The Great Recession of 2008 and the COVID shutdown of the economy in 2020 were probably big factors as well.
Barack Obama
2008: 69,498,516 votes
2012: 65,915,795 votes
Hillary Clinton
2016: 65,853,514 votes
Joe Biden
2020: 81,283,501 votes
This will never sit right with me.
@RepFine Politicians serving in our government should be chosen by the people who elect them. That is what the Constitution requires. If you wish to add another requirement, amend the Constitution.
Politicians serving in our government should have allegiance to only one country, and that is the United States of America.
If they don’t, they need to get out of our government.
@Milajoy The war with Iran is costing that much EVERY DAY. irancost.com
And the proposed Pentagon budget increase is 500 TIMES that.
Just think of what that money would do here at home.
American taxpayers spend between $800 million - $1.2 billion every year to fund the United Nations.
Just think of what that money would do here at home.
Besides, when we really need them to step up, Europe shit on us.
It's time to WITHDRAW from the UN.
@RogueAtlas91@C_3C_3 "There are extra seats in that state yes". And politicians will do their best to gerrymander district borders so that their party benefits from those. 'extra seats'. Will they succeed? The partisan gerrymandering of the past year proves that they often do succeed.
That is total fucking bullshit and you know it. There are extra seats in that state yes, but they are DEMOCRAT seats because of the Blue cities. And the population of illegals that work farms instead of going to the city isn't even fucking close. And those BLUE cities get extra seats that are BLUE.
Going by the numbers…
The Dems have around 50 fraudulent Congressional seats due to illegals.
760,000 people per seat.
40,000,000 illegals.
That’s what this is all about.
Power.
Every 760,000 illegals deported the Democrats lose a seat.
The Dem party is based on fraud.
@BrilynHollyhand Obama faced multiple documented assassination threats. ... sources cite up to 11 credible threats ...
The Secret Service noted Obama received significantly more threats than predecessors, attributed in part to racial animus and extremist ideologies.
Barack Obama wasn't liked by the Right.
Joe Biden wasn't liked by the Right.
They didn't face a LIVE on TV assassination attempt.
The only people trying to kill someone else is the LEFT trying to kill the RIGHT.
This is NOT a both sides issue.
STOP TRYING TO KILL TRUMP.👏
@RogueAtlas91@C_3C_3 House seats are apportioned based on the population (legal or not) of each state. Red states get more House seats. District lines are drawn by (red) state politicians to maximize the number of elected Republicans. Immigrants often work on farms and live in rural areas.
@pampango@C_3C_3 This is a total bullshit misleading point. Where to illegals tend to Congregate inside those red states???? BLUE CITIES. The state just being red does not mean the extra seat is red. It is ALWAYS blue, because they go where the benefits are, BLUE CITIES.
