Paris-Roubaix🇲🇫 ME ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Tadej Pogačar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️MVDP, FVermeersch ⭐️⭐️⭐️WVA, MPedersen, Philipsen ⭐️⭐️Ganna, Laporte, GVermeersch, TDijke ⭐️Stuyven, Mohoric, Pithie, Segaert, Tarling Mathieu Van der Poel arrives with the chance to win a fourth consecutive Paris–Roubaix, something truly extraordinary. On paper, he is still the main favourite. The cobbles suit him perfectly, there is not a single climb on the route, and if it comes down to a sprint, he would almost certainly beat Tadej Pogačar. Pogačar simply does not have the same sprint as Van der Poel. But despite that, I have the feeling that this could finally be his year. The Slovenian rider is in incredible form, highly motivated, and clearly determined to win one of the last monument missing from his palmarès. The more I think about it, the more I feel that Pogačar could finally win Paris–Roubaix. The key reason is that UAE Team Emirates XRG have the riders to make the race incredibly hard. They can attack early and repeatedly, trying to wear Van der Poel down before the finish. In particular, there is one rider who could play a crucial role: Florian Vermeersch. Vermeersch is in excellent form and Paris–Roubaix is his main goal. He already finished second here once, in the edition won by Sonny Colbrelli, ahead of Van der Poel himself. If Vermeersch attacks early or forces Van der Poel to chase, he could make the race much easier for Pogačar. And we should not forget that Van der Poel is not unbeatable in a sprint after a very hard race. He has been beaten before, notably by Kasper Asgreen. In a race like this, everything depends on who still has the strongest legs after 250 kilometres on the cobbles. For me, the three clear main favourites are Pogačar, Van der Poel and Vermeersch. Of course, there are several other riders who could also fight for victory. Jasper Philipsen has already finished second here twice and continues to ride at a very high level. With dry conditions expected, the race could suit him even more. Wout van Aert whenever races here will always be considered a favourite and recently he takes the best results when we less expect from him. Mads Pedersen is another major contender. He seems to have recovered from the issues he had earlier in the season and is once again riding very strongly. Then there is Filippo Ganna. After his recent victory at Dwars door Vlaanderen, he has to be considered one of the favourites, even if his season overall has not always been completely convincing. Within Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe there are also several dangerous outsiders. Riders such as Gianni Vermeersch, Tim Van Dijke and Laurence Pithie could all have an important role to play. In the end, though, my feeling is that this could finally be the year of Tadej Pogačar. #ParisRoubaix

@Pinturicchia13 Luego que un mano a mano no es lo mismo que cuando hay más gente. Si alguien ataca a 120 de meta yo aplaudo con las orejas. Aquí en el mano a mano para "correr agresivo" es intentar atacar (no va a pasar) o sobrevivir y ganar el sprint, no se prevee nada muy heroico creo yo.

@Pinturicchia13 Skjelmose el año pasado en la amstel famosa daba medio relevo pq se sabía frito, y ganó y a todo el mundo le pareció bien. Yo defiendo correr al ataque, pero aquí contra alguien tan bueno parece difícil pensar que está equilibrado. En MSR me pareció lógico relevar...

Os dio Amstel, que siete años después la poneis 250 veces cuando se acerca la fecha, os dio la de Tirreno, os dio el Mundial de Glasgow, os revienta Roubaix desde el 21, ha ganado todo lo que un tío flandrien tiene que ganar, hace todo más divertido, valiente y ofensivo

@Pinturicchia13 No hombre de Jonas ganándole no he hablado. Digo que ratear un relevo en esa circunstancia no es pecado capital. Nunca se le ha recortado tiempo ahí pq siempre ha dejado fritos a todos, este año la ventaja (con Mathieu) fue menor... Obviamente todo es especular, es la gracia

@panacheortrash Y leer chorradas de que Vingegaard le gana chupando rueda qué es mentira y Mathieu pierde cuando nadie le ha ganado más. Es que es tela

@Pinturicchia13 De hecho siendo honestos es una tontería, no es para tanto lo hablamos sólo porque no hay nada más de lo que hablar en esta carrera, no enseñaron la pelea por el 6o puesto... No es nada serio

@Pinturicchia13 No necesariamente relevas mucho menos "hasta que entre Remco"... La cosa es cuánto de más fresco puede ir Pogacar cuantos vatios más puede meter ahí? No tantos, en el mismo sentido si quieres de los números de Ganna el otro día comparados con su record de persecución...

@panacheortrash Es más. Si entra Remco y colaboran todos,pues estás igual. Que tú descansas más pero Pogačar y tb y sigue siendo el más fuerte. Igual sale ahí con 14 segundos.

@Pinturicchia13 Tengo la impresión de que se tacharía a VDP de ser no sé qué si no da esos relevos? No creo que sea verdad? Cada uno juega con lo que tiene si no tienes el día no lo tienes no sé... En el Tour en la montaña no se pasan a relevos casi nunca entre líderes y no se pone pegas

@panacheortrash y que lo intentanse cayendo con honor. Tu hubiera preferido que inventara algo que nunca ha funcionado y encima quedara fatal. Chico, la gracia de hacer catenaccio es para ganar.

@panacheortrash Dw hecho, sale vivo de ahí. Pero en el llano y en el último tramo Pogačar pone un punto más.

@Pinturicchia13 En 2022. Hubiera ido mejor él solo por haber dado menos relevos. Remco podría no haber sido determinante en el kwaremont, pero siendo justos se coció contra los dos (y las motos pero es lo que hay).

@panacheortrash ¿Cuando fue la última vez que alguien que salió del OK con ventaja fue alcanzado?¿Por qué consideras que habría ido mejor con Remco cuando él hizo el OK muy bien y Remco lo hizo peor que Demi Vollering?

@Pinturicchia13 Está más fresco en el kwaremont y los 7 segundos que fueron arriba están en duda. Incluso si no, puede que Remco no remando contra 2 presumiblemente se queda con él y pueden intentar cazarlo después como en la Amstel del año pasado. Que Pog gana igual 95% pero así hay más carrera

I don't know why cycling twitter has suddenly forgotten we don't usually put 19 y/os at the Tour because it can stall their long term growth, too hard too long etc. None of the actual top guys have their GT debut as TDF leaders, that makes no sense on the long run.
