@pixelzGG @fREQUENCYCS If I go into the map aim_botz and put fps max 0 I get 500 - 600fps with cl_showfps 1. It still doesn't feel that smooth. I have a 3070 ti and a ryzen 5 5600x. But for some reason when I enable v-sync it becomes smooth, but it's impossible to perform with that input latency.

@pand4ncs @fREQUENCYCS You have 250fps highs but the frame-times in this game are screwed. If you actually graph it, you're probably dropping to 100 fps or below quite consistently. Creates a laggy feeling.

@fl0m I don't have same problem but, my CS2 feels like 60hz - 80hz with screen tearing even though I get 250fps. Only way for me to make it smooth is enabling v-sync but then it's unplayable because of the input latency. I've tried to fix this but nothing fixes it except v-sync.

As of today I get a stutter when I I get a kill. Offline/workshop it doesn’t happen. Two different fiber lines from different isps and have the issue on both. Frames locked at 400 fps just a stutter and a bunch of shit on my Netgtaph when I get a kill. Anyone else getting this?

@CounterStrike Hello, pls fix game. I have 250 fps+ but it feels like 60 - 40 fps at times with a lot screen tearing. Only fix is to enable v-sync but then I get input latency so it's impossible to perform. I've tried to fix this by updating bios etc but nothing works.

@j3nniman @launders I tried the bios stuff but it still runs the same with resizable bar enabled. Seems like only valve can fix this

@pand4ncs @launders I did find a fix actually in the last week. It could be one of these things or all of them that fixed it. Factory reset pc, updated bios, enabled resizeable bar, and enabled above 4g decoding. If I had to guess, it was the bios stuff that fixed it for me.

Right now people are playing 2 different versions of CS2 1. Game feels laggy, cement shoes, bad input lag 2. Game feels as responsive as CS:GO I know because i've played both versions on different PCs. Valve have 6 days to fix this problem.

@sproutGG I followed the instructions from the nvidia link you sent but I still experience the game not being smooth at all. Resizable bar is on in nvidia and I get 250+fps while using my 144hz monitor. Only way to make it smooth is to enable vsync but then I can't perform. (input latency)

Hey admin here, PSA: Enable Resizable BAR in your BIOS Error pattern: Max frametime spikes (just online?) and stuttery gameplay while maintaining high FPS with a decent rig (e.g. 13700KF & 3080, DDR5 6400Mhz, NVMe). Maybe it helps somebody 🙂👍

If there was a good AWP and Decoy player from the Balkans, m0nesy and Hooxi would have been removed already. Niko removed Carlos as well, just so he could do all of this. 🤝

@launders @hallzerk I saw your post @launders about cs2 being laggy, cement shoes, bad input lag. Do you know the fix for it? I have that exact problem and the only way for me to fix it is to enable v-sync. But when enabling v-sync I get terrible input latency so it's not playable.

@launders game is actually unplayable without vsync for me, and even then its still rough sometimes. Going from like 600-700 avg in GO to 300 in CS2 without vsync is wild

någon som vet hur man fixar detta problemet? När jag spelar CS2 får jag 200fps+ men spelet känns som 60hz med screen tearing. Det ända sättet för mig att fixa det är att enabla v-sync, då blir allt smooth men får input lag. Har endast detta problemet med cs2.
