It’s a great day for Odisha Police, as such high-ranking Maoists have surrendered. March 31st, 2026, is the date assigned by the Home Minister to eliminate the Naxal threat from Odisha. All security forces, including SOG, DBF, BSF, and CRPF, are working together to intensify our Naxal operations, and we are confident we will achieve the target before that date. We will continue to intensify the Naxal operations in the coming days. At the same time, I’ll appeal to the Maoists who are still resorting to violence to denounce violence and join the mainstream by surrendering to the police. We will provide them with all the assistance and support needed to mainstream them in accordance with the surrender policy."
