@TheTope_Ajayi Thank you. This is well received. No empire was divinely created. No empire was part of the human creation story. Empires come and go.

We are no longer in the era of Oyo Empire. Rome and United Kingdom that once ruled more than half of the world as empires can no longer claim sovereignty over the former colonies. Times have changed. We are now in a new world. Oyo Empire now belongs to history and the whole of what we now know as Yorubaland was never under the rule of Alaafin. The society will function well if the current natural rulers in Yorubaland understand their roles in modern society. Our kings should now work collaboratively to preserve peace, unity and development in their communities whilst preserving our cultural values.

@bunmi_speaks Bro you have said it all. I will add - the sudden coordinated attacks on Iba Gani Adams is highly suspicious and shameful.

If you're a strong supporter of Oloye Sunday Igboho like myself, please refrain from all the shameful online attacks on Iba Gani Adams. The Aare Ona Kakanfo cannot be the action figure most of you want him to be, like Igboho, because as a public official in Nigeria or a "state actor," he's limited in what he can do and say, unlike Igboho, a mere citizen. What you're asking of him is way beyond his capacity constitutionally, because in today's Nigeria, the governors are the Chief Security Officers of their respective states. Not the "Generalissimo of Yorubaland." Mistaking Iba's forced passiveness for weakness and resorting to unnecessary name-calling say a lot more about you and your lack of knowledge than it does about him, because even Sunday Igboho in that position will be just as passive. And please, quit spreading the fake news maliciously about "jealousy." Can we end this self-sabotaging behavior already that make us look like unserious people who only live for fracas? All those rumors are just a fabrication in your mind because most of you enjoy pointless drama and "abosi." Neither has a reason to be "jealous" of the other. And neither is after the other's life. So just stop. Because, guess who suffers the consequences of pitting these two giants against each other? You. Not them. They'll both remain safe and protected, while you become more vulnerable should they decide to channel their energy at each other rather than together at the external threat/Fulani invaders in Yorubaland. And besides, both great men have paid their dues, and your meaningless insults/curses won't undo it, particularly on the Aare. So please let's be wise, learn from the mistakes of the past and be guided. Two heads are better than one. Igboho is not superman.

What a speech! As insensitive and bellicose as ever! Why am I not surprised? Now you know the type of monster you have as President. He sounded more like a Yakuza or Mafia boss talking down to his bookies than a democratically-elected President...1/7 #EndBuhari #EndsSARS
