@Papaocus Hey Papaocus, We filled the hiring form 6 months ago but still haven't received any response from your end. We are desperately trying to hire a candidate from Aevy School for our startup. Can you please help with this?

I do remember this student from C5 who got placed with KukuFM. 2 years in - today he works with ShareChat and makes really good money. Remember - this guy didn’t even know how to edit before he joined the program. Now look at him :)

A right thumbnail has to do only TWO THINGS. - Create a curiosity gap - And make the audience watch the video for longer. It's not about CTR. It's about out of 100 people that were shown the video, how many of them after clicking ended up watching the video.

@inventor011 I don’t know the future, but from my personal experience the less the friction has gotten thanks to modern tools the more editors’ demand has increased. I personally have hired the most amount of editors in the last 3 months.

Like India became the software factory of the world, we will become the content factory of the world. @ AevyVideoSchool, we’ve trained 4000+ editors and got them placed. Thats the reason we are @ front lines to make India ready to devour the next set of creative jobs

To meet this demand, big companies stepping in is net good. The density of information has increased A LOT. CEOs finally have enough incentive to reveal their workflows. This is unprecedented. But all these folks need talent. They need the "dawgs" who actually get the game. (2/3)

@itsnisargg You will mostly never remember the thumbnail of the video you liked. Just the title. Thumbnail is only for creating a curiosity gap and then allowing the audience to make an informed decision if they want to watch this video or not. And all of this happens in less than 2 secs

@Papaocus sometimes I don't even look at thumbnail or remember. It's mainly about who's the creator and how's their content.

You can make a titillating thumbnail, expecting it to do well. But cause that thumbnail doesn't represent the video accurately, YouTube will quite literally black list your video. YouTube is high intent platform. If your video is breaching that trust. You're a goner.

This is what makes me work harder & double down on outcomes for everyone out there. There is so much opportunity & demand for good video talent in the market. And watching my students go crush it out there - is a cherry on top of the cake. So happy!

New Long form is here! I wanted to take a moment and highlight just how insane Chinese animation has gotten. The story behind how it got to this point is even crazier. youtu.be/CpLAauGIFKk?si…

And then you wonder why you burn out. Because no single conversation inspires you. You just feel more lost. All the top guys I have encountered have kept their life extremely basic, they only interact with folks who actually CREATE. Thats the Secrets hidden in plain sight.

All this adds an extra layer of complexity. And these layers cost most people their creative energy. When you get into algorithmic gossip, you talk less to folks who are the best designers, the best musicians, the best writers

Left this platform for a while cause the general conversation around content was just based around algo and “hacks” around it. The more content I have created (Aevy does about 80-100 vids/month, all human produced.) the more I want to listen less about algorithm (1/n)
