That Wolves match & (yet another) poor January transfer window shook us and we have never recovered. After Cardiff on Jan 1st, every win until April was lucky or scrappy. The real beginning of the end for me. All went downhill after that Burnley loss. The UCL run & the opening of the new stadium papered over the cracks of our terrible league form. Truth is we've never recovered since.

@vickyinatutu @nashdraws I honestly think there’s a middle ground here. IMO it should be mandatory for venues to give a local up and coming band a support slot for every tribute band they have on. The sad truth is that most venues can’t survive without tribute bands

@nashdraws Rubbish for music in general though when young up and coming bands can’t get a gig anywhere to learn their craft because every venue would rather put on one of the 1600 Smiths tribute bands & know they’ll sell more tickets.

The vast number of tribute acts is killing the live music industry. I used to be able to go see a local band every couple of weeks for under a tenner & now it’s just wall to wall tribute bands wanting £20+ a ticket to play other people’s songs.

There are over 200 Premier League goals in this picture. Boro also had Mark Viduka at that time as well. Firepower. I have no memory of this Middlesbrough away kit by the way.
