C’est une annonce incroyable, Gilles Guilbert le policier qui a tué Olivio Gomes, vient d’être condamné à 10 ans de prison pour le meurtre d’Olivio par la cour d’assises de Versailles.
C’est une décision historique tant on sait comment les crimes policiers sont toujours couverts.

Petit rappel: les 9 dernière femmes qui ont échoué au test de féminité étaient toutes des femmes c!s.
Elles ont dû subir une inspection des organes génitaux de leurs poils pubiens et de leurs seins pour ça.
Certaines ont tenté de se suicider par la suite.

Others have pointed this out before, but I don't understand how if you get diabetes from covid, while that is a kind of long covid, it's uncontroversial to call it diabetes. But if you get ME from covid, it's somehow controversial to call it ME.

This confusion happens because the term PEM, which was made for describing the unique phenomenon experienced by pwME, has been taken by others using **really weak** definitions of it, and applied to those who experience any post exertion fatigue or symptom worsening.

@Lwardo4 It’s not your fault you’re confused, as so many people have co-opted the language used around PEM and have incorrectly applied the term to other diseases that experience disproportionate responses to exertion, but they’re wrong, that’s not what PEM is.

What has really happened here is that people with LC who don’t have ME have co-opted the language developed and used exclusively my pwME to discuss our unique experiences.

@MikeZ____ PEM is not seen in any other disease and no, despite that one paper that claims it is, it is not seen in cancer either. The confusion results from a failure to understand what PEM is, it is regularly confused with PESE & exercise intolerance which occur in MANY diseases.

Their argument really amounts to: an ME researcher said something erroneous about LC, therefore people with ME (including those who have ME as a result of COVID) who advocate for themselves are responsible for the abandonment of people with long COVID
