@Prezain_LJ Her definition of high value woman is a woman who has a job or a business. Literally every woman in a Union Bank doing customer service that has a side business is high value by that definition.

Sommie, we're mutuals, and I must say that on this particular topic, you really don't have an adequate grasp of it. I've read everything you've written on this subject, including your conversations with Wizarab, not just the particular tweet I'm quoting, and honestly, you've been shifting the goalposts. A woman who has her life together has not done anything extraordinary. She's simply doing what every responsible adult should do. Before replying to this post, I took my time to read more about a high-value woman, and honestly, it's quite obvious you don't have a solid grasp of the concept. For example, you said, "A woman who owns a hair salon but doesn't have a website..." Any woman who owns a hair salon but doesn't have a website is not a high-value woman. You started this whole conversation with "invest in me, invest in me." High-value women don't necessarily need a man to invest in them. They are self-sufficient, financially included. If you're so obsessed with a man investing his money in you, then you're not high value. Besides, there is nothing special about a woman owning a business or having a job. Do we go around applauding every man simply because he has those things? A high-value woman adds value to her man, not just receives from him. She brings value to the table; she isn't a liability looking for someone to invest in her. Some qualities of a high-value woman include: strong character and integrity, emotional maturity and accountability, financial responsibility and the ability to support herself, loyalty and consistency in relationships, intelligence and good judgment, self-respect and respect for others, good communication and conflict-resolution skills, discipline and a growth mindset, kindness, empathy, and generosity, and the ability to positively contribute to the lives of those around her. If we go by your definition of a high-value woman, then every man is automatically high value. You mentioned having a man who owns a block industry and bringing customers to him because you have engineer friends. How does that correlate with the "invest in me" argument you started with? If you're truly high value, you shouldn't only be getting customers for him; you should also be able to contribute financially to the business if necessary. A simple Google search will show you that the women commonly recognized as high-value women in Nigeria are very few, people like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ibukun Awosika, Tara Fela-Durotoye, etc. If you're going to raise conversations like this, be prepared to back your claims with facts, not just throw words around. I also saw where you said you muted the post. If you're convinced you've made your points well and have the facts to address people's questions, why mute it? I've followed all your tweets on this topic, and I honestly think you've been trying to make amends for your initial tweets while attempting to make them sound more convincing. I'm open to having more conversations on this.

A high-value woman is like a moving train. She has her stuff together. She isn’t moved by fancy trips etc. When you come into her life, you either add value to it or bounce out. Y’all keep pushing the narrative that it’s all about money, but you’re missing the whole point. Making cute memories is cool, but we are not shallow-minded. For example, she runs a hair business and you, as a man, notice she doesn’t have a website for it. So you decide to create one for her. The issue is that most of y’all date mid girls, and it shows that’s why there’s so much drag. It’s not one-sided. A woman can bring valuable connections that link her man to big customers. As a female civil engineer whose partner owns a block industry, don’t you know most of my colleagues are contractors? I connect him to them. Men, bye ✌️ We don big pass yeye enjoyments. I am a woman of value. You can start counting from me.

I get the point you're making, but I think you're oversimplifying relationships. Wanting your partner to be generous, supportive or invest in your life doesn't automatically mean you're charging for sex. The problem isn't gifts or money, it's when the relationship becomes purely transactional. Healthy relationships can have financial support, emotional support, and intimacy all existing together without reducing either person to a buyer or a seller.
Sir Dickson@Wizarab10

I've said it many times that the biggest problem we are having with relationship is that we dont know where to draw the line between commitment and paid sex. It is either we have been involved too much in paying for sex/being paid for sex or we are looking at the lives of people getting paid for sex and using relationship to try to live that life because we do not have the mind to live it openly. "Mr Emeka is only sleeping with Chichi, and look at all the things she gets to buy and the money she has." But Emeka is paying for her services and they both know the arrangement. Sex is the fastest selling commodity, there is no need pretending about it. It is okay to offer someone sex in exchange for monetary reward or monetary reward in exchange for sex. If the other person consents, fine. If not, keep it moving. What many of you are doing is entering relationship and demanding the stuff Chichi is getting from Emeka - that is, demanding to be paid for sexual relations. Relationship has an entirely different dynamics. You're doing life together. Your goal should always be to give and share memories, not looking for investment and making useless demands because he sleeps with you. Are you not sleeping with him? Lovers make love because it is good for their heart. You're not having sex to fill your pocket. The men too are also lost because they are in relationship and paying for sexual relations and respect, when they could just actually pay for sexual relations from a willing participant. Everything in hazy in Nigeria. I hate to always say this but you'll only come close to experiencing love and the distinctions between different forms of sexual relations when you leave Nigeria. In Nigeria, everything is the same, no difference between relationship and other forms of sexual relations. We just name them different things for aesthetics.

I see you got the whole thing wrong. What she is trying to insuliate was that, many young women preferred to follow the trend by asking for restaurants dates, expensive wigs, latest gadgets and all sorts. Instead of requesting for this things while the resources available are limited for you and the other party involved as a lady why not request for something substantial like supporting your business, assist you while you learn a trade or skills. This is what many men want from women, no doubt about that but many of this women who has diverted to the aforementioned are the sole reason while opueh has been the content of our today's word. If you invest in a woman, you wouldn't want to lose her, if you do, you can still be good friends and can run up to her if you have clear understanding to help you when the need arises. Many women who engaged in prostitution today was as a result of the lifestyle they lived with those boys and when the relationship elapsed, they tend to maintain the lifestyle and when they can't afford it, they end up meeting up with different men to foot their bills and that brought us to the stage where they end up saying "relationship na scam" if you have your money, you can have my body. The lady was right and I assumed you do not comprehend her point of view.

You cannot be full and using relationship as a pretext to look for investor. Register a business and do the ground work of bootstrapping it, before seeking for funding. What exactly do you want to give to your investor - Opueh? You cannot claim financial investment too because the only reason you are dating him to get funding. This would not be a problem if there was an agreement to engage in sexual relations for financial investment. Both parties know what they are involved in. Entering relationship with someone when it is just investment you’re looking for is sinister. You could have just told them to borrow or give you money for school and/or business. But then, you have no intention to pay back, which is why you are pretending to be in relationship with him in the first place. The whole point of love is to GIVE love and create memories. Looking for investment has nothing to do with love or relationship. When you people don’t have mind to engage in sexual relations for financial returns, you look for an investor you can pretend to be in relationship with. You just don’t want to see the problem with that, but somehow, you know the problem with that when it is your brother or son at the receiving end. It is how you people complain a man is wasting your time by dating you when all his intention was just to get you in bed with him, but instead of coming out to ask for sexual relations, he decided to ask you out and pretend to be in love or relationship with you.

We can not ignore this pattern. I ask you to treat this question as an academic question: What is the propensity of Igbo women to violence on children? Pepper in vagina, using blade to slash wrists, burning with candles. What's driving this thirst for violence?
