Hello! Have you talked to a surgeon yet? I went to UCSD as they have AN specific surgeons. Depending on size and location, everyone is different. My story is slightly unusual as I was very dizzy before surgery.. near disabled, really. I did a middle fossa surgery and immediately they saw that it wasn’t an AN, so I had to do the pathology waiting game but luckily it was benign. So not 100% like an AN story, but regarding surgery and recovery, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I still have hearing. 2 months out and slight pressure in that ear. Took 10 days to walk fairly confidently. In hospital, first two days is pretty rough on walking but it’s important to push yourself. Day 30 and my dizziness was completely gone. The worst part post surgery for me was sleeping upright. I should have tested comfortable pillows and spots before, so I slept very poorly for a month or so. I can sleep on either side and normal by a month. Good luck though. But just know that the surgery portion is bad but not as bad as you’d think. I’d do it again if I had to (hopefully I never have to)

Month and change post brain surgery update. Tumor wasn’t what they thought it was. They thought I had an acoustic neuroma which are benign but ended up with something different and had to live a week with potential cancer results. Thankfully, it’s a benign meningioma. 🙏 First few weeks felt like an uphill battle and was pretty dizzy until about a week ago where suddenly every day felt like progress, and now today I feel better and more focused than I have all year. Computer screens don’t trigger me at all and now makes me wonder how long I’ve had this tumor. I feel more focused when I work now. I can read to my kids without any dizziness, I can turn my head without getting sick to my stomach. I got to watch my daughter take her first steps and now I walk her everywhere. I’m back babbyyy. Next up, ship some cool shit and get back in the water and surf. Thanks to the kind wishes to those who reached out.

@CountrysideBen Roof box after a patch of bugs on m74 south of Moffat in May. Definitely notable. The sound was the worst thing. Isolated 50m patch of bugs sadly unidentifiable. Saw ur article in @walkhighlands 🦟🪳🐜🦟🪳🪰🦟🪳🦗🦟🐝🪰🪳🦟🪰🦟

Bit of help please folks!......for UK-based folk. Insect splat on your cars this spring. Have you found it: - Same as normal? - Less than normal? - More than normal? If you could say what part of the country you're in that would be helpful too 🙂 THANKS!

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Me and my partner sorted wills and poa last year. Both fit and well in our mid fifties. But work as paramedics so know how important poa is. More people need to do this

Tonight's @itvMLshow 8pm is about difficult but crucial conversations: Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, Inheritance tax. Do you already have a Will & a Power of Attorney (PoA) set up for yourself? If yes, how did you find it, if not, why not? Let us know using #MartinLewis

I’ve had plantar fasciitis for quite a while now. It’s now doing my head in and I want to get back to normal. I’m doing exercises for it and massaging it but it’s not shifting 😖 will it ever go? My foot is so sore and it really hurts when I walk. I’m not even going on my walks
