My cousin is getting married and they are almost about to invest 50 lakhs only in marriage. And when I asked them about the bifurcation of 50L. So, out of it 30-35L is only on decoration, bridal entry, food that's it. I mean I understand it's a once in a lifetime thing but do you really think that it's needed to spend this much amount on just a wedding ??? And when I asked them that shadi can be done within 20L also and rest money you'll Can invest by buying some property so the answer on this I get is "LOG KYA SOCHENGE" aka what will people think, which is clearly the most bullshit thing one can even think about. Will these people be the one who will be living under the shelter you invest in buying a house ??? Man we people really need to understand that we are not Ambani's or Birla to spend 50L and it will not affect us even a bit. This social media has made the showoff thing so vulnerable, marriage is more of a showoff than actually marriage.
