Lovely Twitter folk - I’d love your help with remembering Ruby today, on the fourth anniversary of her death. Ruby wasn’t afraid of much, but she was afraid she’d soon be forgotten. I promised her I wouldn’t let that happen. #RememberingRuby

I would have never thought that one of the most divisive online debates amongst educators would be which color folder goes with which subject… Especially when we all know that: Blue = Social Studies Red = English Green = Science Yellow/Orange = Math

@TheBlueGem3 I paid $130k for mine in 1998. Did nothing. Recently appraised at $750k.

This was the very first house my husband and I purchased in 2005 in Calgary. We paid $202,000 for it. We built a detached 24x24 garage. It was recently listed by the seller for $585,000 Calgary prices are insane!

@BoydinNL Going east from west:right lane exits to the right,left lane exits to the middle, signalling superfluous because nowhere else to go except back where you came from.Going south to east:2 choices but signalling could be either. Going north to west or south: confusion if no signal

has anyone tried the “Scandinavian sleeping” thing where each partner has their own blanket & no flat sheet? my partner recommended it a while back but I didn’t think it was a good idea. we slept with our own comforters last night & omg this is a game changer 😂

@rosscraig @Daisyface79 Yes, and they only hire Catholic teachers. Would not hire my friend (Anglican) even though she minored in Religious Education in addition to her teaching degree.

Tim’s used to be for the little guy who wanted a quick coffee and a bite. Now they’re making pizzas and crappy paper lids. I’m done with Tim Hortons until they stop trying to push these woke paper lids that dissolve in your mouth.

@julietabbouli Do they put children in jail in the States? Here pressing charges for a middle schooler would not mean jail. It would lead to getting him help, which he won't get otherwise (read the rest of the story, the boy scoffed and threatened to do it again)

Wanting a middle school aged child to be prosecuted and potentially jailed over a push…legitimately psychotic behavior. Just completely devoid of empathy or reason.
