Miss the way our grandparents told our ancient stories; raw, emotional, unfiltered? Bharat Unscripted brings it back. No synthetic narration or overproduction. Just powerful short stories from our past—told as they were meant to be heard. Get started here podcasts.apple.com/in/podcast/bha…

Some sacrifices save families. Some sacrifices destroy empires. Devavrata gave up his crown… his future… his bloodline… all for his father’s happiness. That one vow transformed him into Bhishma — the greatest warrior of Hastinapur. But every domino that fell after that moment slowly pushed the Kuru dynasty toward destruction. Broken succession. Power struggles. The birth of rivalry. The game of dice. And finally… Kurukshetra. This is not just the story of a vow. It is the story of how one act of selflessness changed the destiny of an entire civilization. ⚔️ New Episode Out Now 🎥 Mahabharata and Oath that changed history #Mahabharata #Bhishma #IndianMythology #Kurukshetra #MythologyExplained #HinduMythology #EpicStories #Krishna #Mahabharat #IndianHistory #Storytelling #MythologySeries #CinematicArt #AncientIndia

Did you know one man quietly stands at the center of both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata? A king who challenged the gods. A sage who shaped Ram’s destiny. And through a forgotten connection… helped shape the future of Bharat itself. Vishwamitra ! podcasts.apple.com/in/podcast/bha…

@parijit Assuming this story is a moral lesson Why is the king who conquered the earth and almost all of Swarg ultimately defeated by pataal lok , which is considered as inhabited by negative criminals, what is the moral in that part of the story

@lilastories @DrRavenwin95421 this one was a total mind blowing moment for me when i first read it. people don’t yet understand how awesome Savarkar’s strategic connections were. abhinav bharat should be a case study

I am deeply grateful to @vikramsampath for endorsing my book and, even more, for founding @fihcrinfo and instituting the Sir Jadunath Sarkar Fellowship for Indian History, without which this book would not have been possible. Available for pre-orders: amzn.in/d/0abB237Y

Unpopular opinion, but Savarkar's contribution to India's independence movement is much greater than that of Ambedkar and Periyar.

Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s patriotic poems in Urdu & Hindi found in his personal jail diary during long imprisonment. ca. 1919 - 1921. [Savarkar was one of the stalwart who studied Islam deeply & was proficient in Urdu along with Tamil, Bengali & Gurumukhi (Sikh language)]

Heartfelt moments from Vizag yesterday ❤️ My father came from a very very humble background. We stayed in two rooms in a chawl kitchen cum bedroom. Sachin Tendulkar emotionally recalls his father Ramesh Tendulkar’s struggles & passion for education at Andhra University Centenary, Vizag.

@RSingh6969a @sachin_rt The most beautiful thing about this picture is that he still has the same expressions .. he is the best human being to have walked amongst us. Happy to be born in his generation.

This image captures the 'tapasya' behind the making of a legend. A modest room, a simple striped mattress, and a young man completely unaware that he was about to carry the dreams of a billion people and change the face of Indian cricket forever. Happy birthday @sachin_rt

See this is where conversations end ! What you have written is a preconvcieved , disrespectful conclusion. Savarkar , led revolutions and structured the foundation of the armed revolutionary movement - he is way beyond an "uprising". Understand , when the 1946 uprising happned, he was 63 years old , you don't expect him to take a gun and start firing , right? He had suffered two heart attacks by that time and the torture of Cellular jail had left a permanent physical damage. He is inarguably , the pioneer of structured armed revolution during that period. Remove your baises for a while, read Sanjeev Sanyal's revolutionaries if the other books look "right wing" to you. You don't have to be a Bhakt to dive deeper. All the best !

@parijit @sameer_kasture See you don’t get your interpretations right. Savarkar was too coward to lead any uprising. Even bigots will not dare say that. But connecting the vibe and ethos of “Hindu Youth” with a national mutiny and calling it a “masterstroke” is outright stupidity.

“Hindu youths, join the Army, Navy, Airforce. Get the battle expertise, we’ll then decide to whom the nozzle to be turned” 1000’s of youths resumed to British & Indian National Army on SavarkarJi’s appeal. In 1946, naval uprising held at Bombay, Karachi ports. What a strategy!

@parijit @sameer_kasture Btw Parijit, I liked your podcast. Finished all the episodes. Fresh style of story telling. Didn’t know a few stories and must say that they could inspire people. Reserve my right to critic the episode on mythology vs history. That’s bullshit and bhakts can debate forever…

@sameer_kasture @parijit Self styled “History buffs” need to call out the bigotry here! “Hindu youth”? Typical Modi style of taking over credits. The uprising was led by M S Khan! Duh!
