@theomn Strangely, LinkedIn is the only social network I look at now. I miss chatting with folks here though. But I can’t even use a good client anymore, this first party client has been forced down everyone’s throat

@norootcause have you seen how a huge percentage of Canada doesn’t have internet today? All of a Rogers is down, cellular and wired internet. Many ATMs and debit/credit machines are down. There’s going to be a good story here! Odds it was a config change?

@norootcause But maybe it’s a way to prevent blame from hitting human operators! Time to replace “human error” with “AI error”

Note to Rogers: AI won’t save you from incidents

@norootcause From an email the CEO just sent: “…we will continue to focus on reliability, investing $10 billion over the next three years. This includes more oversight, more testing and greater use of Artificial Intelligence to ensure we’re able to deliver the reliable service you deserve.“

@norootcause Maybe they’re one of those managers that still likes to code, and they messed up a YAML config

I've been working on the loadout that will help me succeed in this, the final boss, fight in Elden Ring. How can I be above level 160 and still feel so weak?

@theomn @palendae I don’t think I even know what stone cats you’re talking about. This game has everything!

@parlar @palendae There's a similar gag you can do with crystal darts and those Guardian Watchdog stone cat mobs. Crystal darts can cause them to become "confused" so if there are 2 of them you can make them fight each other.

@theomn @palendae The quest line to get the cookbook is super convoluted, and I never would have found any of it on my own

@theomn @palendae Yeah. It didn’t go as well as I wanted. YouTube shows people enchanting both goons, and getting tons of help on Niall. I enchanted one goon, and then the second goon laid a beat down on the first before I could enchant the second. But I got it, and it helped me with Niall

@theomn @palendae I spent WAY too long going through the quest line to get Fevor’s Cookbook [3], so I could craft Bewitching Branches. That made the fight relatively easy in the end

@norootcause “The regulator is also asking the telecom to describe any measures that were put in place after a software upgrade knocked out Rogers wireless service in April, 2021, and to explain why those measures failed to prevent the most recent service disruption.” stocks.apple.com/AhhXYs_SGThq0M…
