Unsure, don’t know if there’s any publicly available numbers! I’m more responding to the general need for a private schools infrastructure - no such need in Miami, because you can get away from the bottom quintile of society for free if you’re 105> IQ. Not quite the case in most of the country.

You get a lot older if you don’t grow up. A fit healthy 28 year old guy with two toddlers is still young. A 32 year old whose Twitter bio says “your local rat gf” is ancient, a decaying entity.

Not sure if Miami will be *the* city of the 21st century, but certainly it’s on track to being just that. Impressive model for how to reclaim and subsequently re-develop downtowns - it’s even more remarkable when you consider it’s been able to do so incognito, away from NGO/gov scrutiny

Bezmenov (a hack soviet reporter who was stationed in India and regarded as unreliable by western intelligence) is a perfect example of the phenomenon I’m describing, the ultimate grifter there to tell American conservative types what they want to hear: that they are soooo much smarter than their liberal opponents because they didn’t fall for the “ROOSKIE PSYOP” (er… Chinese now or whatever). Do you want to know what the problem is with Western liberals? the problem is that they are wrong. They are not psyopped, they have not been tricked by shadowy KGB operatives planted throughout our institutions. They are simply wrong, and arrogantly so. They have a set of beliefs about the world (e.g. crime is caused by poverty and alienation, wealth is produced via exploitation and should be redistributed, 等等) that are simply incorrect. Because these beliefs sound very nice, and because their believers can somewhat insulate themselves from the consequences, and because of demographic replacement/welfarism that allows for the de-facto purchasing of votes, these people also have managed to finagle themselves into possessing immense power and influence over the course of the country/your city council/your local school board. Liberals are not hoodwinked little victims ready to slap their heads and go “D’Oh!” when you finally stop the Chinese/Russian/Cuban/North Korean/Angolan propaganda operation. Their ideology is homegrown and self-perpetuating. It exists at the nexus of immense reserves of money (provided by domestic billionaires, heiresses, and corporations), status (elite institutions of every stripe), and ideological context (vast volumes of philosophy and theory designed to justify itself). ‘Foreign adversaries intelligence agencies’ are not, have never been, and will not be necessary to start, support, expand, or activate this system. Whatever extent they do influence it to is minuscule compared to the dangers of a single post-divorce tech CEO’s wife that you might as well just completely ignore it. Liberalism isn’t some Chinese guy slipping back alley briefcases to antifa, it’s McKenzie Scott-Bezos (oops scratch that part) openly bankrolling organizations whose stated mission is to “eradicate whiteness” or whatever to the tune of tens of millions a year.
Beff (e/acc)@beffjezos

What if I told you the subversion of these institutions all have the same common latent variables which are foreign adversarial intelligence agencies? Yuri Bezmenov already exposed all this in the 80s.

@bionic_ooze @skibidiblazor Re: language gaps - surprised it’s not spoken about more often. A large portion of <30s are functionally languageless - poor English, elementary proficiency in their heritage language. What can you even do with these people?

@skibidiblazor I've started seeing glimpses of what these people's anchor babies are going to look like as I encounter more bush era ones: completely acultural, hedonistic golems who speak english but have startling vocabulary gaps and don't know anything about anything. just vape and consume.

Anyone who hasn't stepped off the tourist path in California doesn't get it but the state is basically occupied territory. You can be looking at some gorgeous 20th century public buildings and then two blocks away it's piss stained hordes of 5'3" squatemalans or hobo RV camps.
bumbadum@bumbadum14

When someone blames Californians for the issues it has today look through this list. California was the beta test for American judicial fiat. Every step of the way native Californians tried to save their state through reasonable representative democracy. And every single time dictatorial judges imposed a new world on them.

The premise of this “anti-cancel culture” movie THE DRAMA is that a guy learns his fiance almost committed a mass shooting at 15, but then didn’t go through with it. This completely wrecks their relationship. People around him tell him she is a psycho and he must immediately call the police. You, the viewer, are meant to tap yourself on the back for being empathetic and forgiving towards her while everyone else acts insane about this total non issue. If my gf told me she almost did that at 15 I would be like wow that’s fuckin crazy - but I wouldn’t break up with her or have it ruin my perception of her because I am an adult, who was also a teenager, who also had dark and erratic thoughts, like literally everyone else. It would be fascinating more than anything. Almost everyone I know would behave the same way. This couple wears Harper’s magazine shirts and quotes Freud, and we’re supposed to believe they are incredible intelligent literary types with mature understandings of the human condition who simply cannot contextualize this fact of someone’s childhood. There is something so condescending about the films thesis. It is meant to be a reeducation camp that teaches us to empathize with people we already empathize with. It assumes we are judgmental and wags its finger at us when we are in fact already cured of its supposed ills. Simply not a film that was made for adults.

"Semi-lingual" / Limited Active Bilingualism: While "semilingualism" is a controversial term in linguistics, it is sometimes used to describe the "low language competence" (low LC) group, where individuals cannot fully meet language demands in either the L1 (heritage) or L2 (societal) language.

What I appreciate about French authors (Montherlant, Montaigne, Celine, Benoist, La Rochefoucauld, Stendhal) above all others is their demand for complete lucidity and clarity. Sentimentality to them is a narcotic that clouds us from seeing clearly. They go straight to violence, sex, and human wretchedness to uncover what's really going on. No moralizing. Clear, cold perception of reality as a spiritual duty. That is what it means to be French.
