Last week,my uncle was saying that before 2000,Solapur had a very good bus service. During peak hours, all the buses including double-decker buses got full. He still remembers the bus numbers and routes. Today this dirty politics ruined solapur transportation system.

The Kanpur Files – Part 1 This bus stop was built in Kanpur under the Smart City Mission. The entire project cost around ₹3 Crore. And what is the reality on the ground? >A dark, deserted structure. >Broken and filthy surroundings. >No visible public movement. >No sign that it is serving passengers the way a public bus stop should. This is exactly how public money gets buried in India: >First, crores are sanctioned. >Then a shiny structure is built. >Then photo-ops happen. >Then the public is left with a useless shell. The question is simple: Who was this bus stop actually built for? The commuters of Kanpur? Or the contractors, officials, and paperwork that needed another “Completed Project”? Because from the ground reality, this does not look like a Smart City success. It looks like a Smart City Scam dressed up as infrastructure. This is what happens when projects are built to show expenditure, not to serve people.
