sometimes you gamble and win 😅 the other day a PSA10 of this card went up for auction. i wanted it. i thought it might go for $1k but ended up selling for $6k in the final minutes 🤦‍♂️ out of frustration i rage bought 10X 27 year old unopened packs from ebay and pulled two seemingly perfect copies 😉 off for grading they go!

I have the cleanest @InvsbleFriends in the space. I genuinely believe that. back then I was offered 9 WETH (over $23,000) for it. My price was 25 ETH (lol) so I kept it. you all know what followed. this was and still is one of the best NFT art I’ve ever seen. The IP potential was genuinely out of this world. so watching @MotionMarkus return and seeing everyone welcome him like he’s the goat is disturbing, to say the least. our industry has a memory problem. A severe one. And grifters always return when they smell money. NFTs get hot again and the vultures leave their nests. Every single time. I still hold my IF and I still love my NFT. but let this serve as a reminder that great art will never outweigh broken ethics. Never.

Thanks for playing, @hytopia community. Anyone who entered this ecosystem over the past 5 years and stayed around through the three paid mints and at least three token pivots has literally lost their shit. The team has been fumbling around blind for years, trying to figure out how to build utility into multiple NFT collections around a token that never had any utility around an unfinished gaming platform that never had any users. I was once the largest holder here with 1.5M 'invested' into the NFTs. I exited with about a year and a half ago, 65% down. I still have 600 nodes I minted a year and a half ago, only to find out the team 'rugged' all utility by removing the token vesting (which was the selling point). But at least I got something out; most didn't. Sadly, most gaming communities have just been used as a human farm to extract capital from. Buying an NFT and joining a community does not make you anything but a resource. The original NFT World mint was free. The other three were not. Three token name changes, 3 pivots in 3 years, 99% of all the NFT utility from each mint replaced with diminished versions or no utility at all. Let's take away what you paid for, rename it, give you far less, and tell you it's for the good of the community and project. And instead of just releasing the tokens, no, let's find further ways to increase the supply, while restricting the NFT vesting that was paid for via mints. Sounds like a familiar strategy used by teams who rug? I'm not saying this was the classic raise money and vanish into the wind kind of scam. The team legit put the treasury into trying to build out an open gaming world. I do not dispute that. But what was built was an unfinished open-source Roblox wannabe game engine that sort of worked, but never worked enough to actually build real products on. With zero working web3 layers, which was kind of the entire original premise. From the Minecraft metaverse to a Layer 2 gaming chain to an AI-vibe-coded Roblox copycat, @hytopia has tried to do anything and everything. Alas, none of it had any chance of working. The team drew a nice living salary for five years. The community goes to the soup kitchen. It's how most of these gaming stories end up. Not the first, and by far not the last. A lot of things went wrong here, and the team kept on fumbling to build any sort of working ecosystem. Every solution they came out with required yet another NFT mint and a complete pivot. When you see a web team renege on promises and rejig tokenomics, start running for the door. Sadly, those who stuck around, minted and held assets, and trapped themselves in this dying ecosystem over the past 5 years can take comfort in knowing that their sacrifice has not been in vain. You will have helped contribute to the 1-line paragraph in the founder's new LinkedIn update. It's kind of ironic that they survived a cease and desist from Microsoft by building an NFT-powered gaming platform on Minecraft without permission, yet are closing shop because of an unpaid tax bill. Sorry, community, taxes and all. The irony writes itself. Now watch the team invariably pivot, yet again, but this time out of web3, away from their obligations, and into a new AI startup.

More engaged with her alchemical experiments over any human drama around her, she exudes a mix of curiosity, mischief and a somewhat detached cheerfulness. Known simply as Digit by those who frequent her shop, she embodies the paradox of New Eden: a place where technology reigns, yet reverence for the natural world often takes precedence. Her expertise spans the spectrum of plant life, from healing herbs to potent toxins, and she has an intuitive attunement to Kai energy. Digitalis (referring to the plant digitalis purpurea known for both its beauty and danger) is a botanist with a penchant for the rare, the contraband and the experimental. The location of her establishment changes according to her needs (and how long its been since the last raid by the authorities) but her reputation as one of the top procurers of psychoactive substances and complex tinctures is known throughout New Eden. Her previous shopfront in Prisma City became an unwitting part of Neon Corp's plot to infect the city, with contaminated goods hidden (unknowingly) among her warehouse of illicit wares. The subsequent raid by the authorities to uncover the nefarious plot put Digitalis in a precarious position, causing her to lay low among the empty warehouses of the Old Rows district. From here she still operates for a select clientele and occasionally contacts Keepers when in need of runners to find rare ingredients. Rumour has it that she is setting up a new, legitimate business to find her footing in Prisma City once again... Keep. Protect. Reimagine. 🌱 "...got a moment to spare for ol’ Digit? It’ll pay nicely."

(pt.1) Master of BOON Haven, Nova Caldera is deeply connected into the networks of Prisma City and has a reputation for being a reliable ally not to be messed with. Previously the bodyguard of Chef Esther at BOON Haven, presenting herself as a concierge at the street level restaurant, Nova is now in full control of one of New Eden's most respected Havens. Together with Chef Esther and a crew of Keepers from BOON Haven, she helped thwart the plot by a rogue AI that had overtaken Neon Corp. in an attempt to poison the city with tainted Aberrant meat. Her striking looks are punctuated by the cybernetic arm that she is not afraid to bring into action. Installed years previously following a traumatic attack by Aberrants that devastated her home village, it is a constant reminder of what she is fighting for. With strength beyond expectation and a sniper wit on top, Nova presents a bubbly exterior but is always ready to step into danger when the citizens of Prisma City need someone to stand in their corner. Keep. Protect. Reimagine.

@lorenzoramirez Cómo te jode reconocer las cosas que hace bien Sánchez. Yo no soy socialista. Jamás he votado al PSOE. Pero Sánchez está haciendo las cosas mejor que nadie a nivel internacional.

Italia y España van a dar un paso al frente en Europa empleando el gas argelino. En el caso de Sánchez en el Palacio de la Moncloa ya se estudia cómo aprovechar la crisis energética global para presentarse ante sus socios europeos como un salvador, lo cual se va a ver respaldado por la crisis turística de los países del Golfo, que harán a España un destino más atractivo. El PIB seguirá creciendo a golpe de deuda pero en el continente de los ciegos el tuerto puede ser el rey.

The deed is done. I have sold my entire Pokemon collection worth 5 figures... It became a pretty big obsession. I would wake up at 3am for pings. Stress and cry if I missed a Pokemon Center drop. I was spending over my income when a new set came out. And if I didn't pull what I wanted I would spend thousands more. My credit card got so high I was spending 700USD on interest PER MONTH. So I realized I had a problem. I sold everything, worked 10x harder at work and in the end payed off my credit card. I forgot how stressed, sad, and depressed the debt was making me. And I am so happy I am out of it. I will still buy pokemon when something comes out, but only with my own money, and never will I spend that much again. Just thought I would share my story with you all. The gamba addiction was real. 💀 💀💀
