Incredibly sad news. I completely share you view Gregg, interacting with him and learning from him was even better than having the manuscript finally accepted in the journal. RIP John and thank you for pushing me to dedicate MASTER DAPT to my parents at ESC presentation.

John Jarcho, Deputy Editor of Cardiology for NEJM, has died of pancreatic cancer. John was a truly kind person and an incredible physician. My many interactions with him over the years crafting NEJM articles made me a better writer and scientist. RIP John, you will be missed.

We should more frequently be brave and withdraw the manuscript when we encounter reviewers who simply want to show how good they are or even worse have intellectual biases…editors will start recognizing them and reviewers will stop destroying manuscripts just for the sake of..
