About 30% of GPT-5.4 traffic in Codex is going out in /fast mode. It looks like frontier intelligence at 1.5X speed and 2X the price has PMF. What is the highest speed / price ratio that you would be willing to pay for?

@Francesco_Oddo @steipete Would love to learn more about this. Video editing has always been a pain, would be great to have AI speed up the grunt work to keep you in the flow state longer. Did you make a skill for this?

@pashmerepat @steipete Codex now does the pre cleanup of my yt videos, it removed silenced, extracts the audio, waits for me to put it in Adobe podcast and re-marge the audio once the audio is done.

Everyone talks about Codex for coding. I want to hear about the other stuff. If you're using it beyond writing code, what's your workflow?

@xav_db If you tinker around with mkaing a skill that gets the desired behavior here, I'd be very interested in taking a look.

@pashmerepat One thing is it asking more questions. sometimes it infers too much/quickly and goes the wrong direction. Questions about what I want to know or what I want it to go deep into etc.

@pashmerepat I use AI for journaling and Codex is not the best for that as it cannot forget it’s a coding assistant to become something else. Claude Code works a lot better for that as Opus is very malleable.

Uber has become unusable in san francisco

Unfortunately even waymo has started to degrade in quality, ever since they opened up in GA. It’s gotten markedly worse at the start of this year. Every waymo i call is 10+ minutes away and often reeks of sweat when you get inside. Last week it was so bad the smell seeped into my clothes (not kidding). @garrytan fix this

@trekedge Every single driver accepts and then wastes your time waiting for you to cancel. Even uber black / exec. Had it happen 3 times in a row today. No haircut for me today!
