To the people who have seen me post about the whole piracy BS of JP vs the world: Please don't "corner the rat" you think your opponent is with whataboutisms and emotional bitebacks. Worldwide: please don't start talking about s**cide rates and shit, that shit is not cool.

I'm not really talking about things like "oh the pro players are smurfing", in fact pro players wouldn't spend their time to smurf if they're better off playing at top tiers. The consistency of Asuna animated, Sinon animated, Leafa animated players is literally unreal.

After testing this about 3 nights in a row, I'm of the conclusion that someone has cheats for MJS, and they're not caught simply because they pay top dollar for collab skins every event. They can miss free players like me if the cheaters pay thousands every time.

@Gabby_Hoffman The Repeal the 19th folks aren't right-wing or conservative. They are parasites that recruit from the right and blackpill them with "both sides are the same" rhetoric, and we're going to find out that some of influencers were funded by the left to sow division.

It's very upsetting that many women are trending Left. If you want more women to become conservative and counter radical feminism, several pieces of advice: 1) Refrain from repeal the 19th Amendment talk 2) Stop condemning women who work 3) Promote flexible work arrangements that allow women to balance work and home life 4) Retake affordability messaging 5) Focus on kitchen table Issues @IWF has dedicated 30+ years to addressing this challenge. Please support us!
Michael A. Arouet@MichaelAArouet

That's an interesting chart. Young men have stayed similarly conservative for over 25 years, while young women have drifted much further left. Why such a divergence? What has changed for young women that hasn't changed for young men?

@VeteranHODL @_Dr_Anon @Jcastweet If the idea is to game minimum wages by claiming measures don't work via abusing the laws to claim productivity will suffer and all, then it's STILL on the business owners who decided to all be anti-competitive at once. Then we should investigate and prosecute.

Some of the replies to this make me incredibly concerned about the levels of anger against small and mid sized business owners who let’s face it employ over 60% of the uk work force. The lack of understanding around basic economics is woeful.
Peter McCormack 🏴‍☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪@PeterMcCormack

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.

@VeteranHODL @Jcastweet You are making it sound like underpaid workers should, regardless of their shitty wages, swear fealty and loyalty and undying support for their employers. Do you think that makes sense?

@Jcastweet What's most concerning is that some of the replies presumably come from the very employees that would be threatened. You'd think there would be a greater appreciation of business owners from people employed by them.

@drewshifu @magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson So let me know too what is it about these American airliners that the law explicitly gives them a "fuck over your millions of regular customers without punishment" pass for? And then when you decide who the enemy is, look again at whether you're on the right side of matters??

@drewshifu @magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson as a sidebar, it seems like only Americans have to constantly worry in 2026 about companies suddenly imposing unfair fees on them for everything they do. In the case of, e.g. me buying a ticket from Peach Aviation, they itemised everything for me and I pay only that.

So Lina Khan blocked the merger with Jet Blue because she said the loss of an airline would hurt consumers. The end result: not only the loss of an airline but mass unemployment. A socialism story.

@drewshifu @magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson Ultimately your response about "budget airline bad" sounds like a wail against budget carriers, but ultimately was about some form of anti-competition I can't properly decipher, yet I know should've been under CFPB's purview if it still is as strong as it was under Biden.

@drewshifu @magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson ... DOGE, iirc, has shanked a lot of the agencies that were meant by the government to regulate against the very things you just mentioned. What was it again, that agency name? Oh right, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The things you mentioned could've been covered.

@drewshifu @magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson May I ask if you're in the bracket of people who may not have to work once in their lives and will still be fine? Because it's only that type of thinking that will result in the conclusions you make. Most of us don't take budget airline stuff because we -want- to, jsyk.

@magicinthealps @Legal_Fil @guypbenson More choice is a euphemism for giving airlines an option to hide fees and screw people last minute. When will people get budget airlines really aren’t that much cheaper if you don’t book super early and don’t bring anything except the clothes you’re wearing?! Scams and classless.

The smirking responses from the left saying “well you’re too poor to run a business so it should shut down” are a microcosm of the mess this country is in. Tall poppy syndrome run amok.

I don’t understand why we have the minimum wage. It’s a dumb idea. Government shouldn’t be involved if there is a willing buyer / willing seller. Also, employment rights shouldn’t exist. If you aren’t happy, leave. Any good employer will pay what is deserved and have commercial sense to treat valuable staff well.

@PeterMcCormack Option B - We raise the minimum wage, shop loses money, we raise prices, they still can't afford the coffee❌ - We raise the minimum wage, and I now blame staff for more things because wage increases mean productivity increases that must absolutely happen, magically if needed!⭕

Okay, lets play this out sir... - We raise the minimum wage Option A - I let staff go because the business can't afford them, they have no money and still can't afford a coffee. Option B - We raise the minimum wage, shop loses money, we raise prices, they still can't afford the coffee. I wish people like you would read a book rather than so confidently not understanding the problem.
Callum R@GoldRobin_11

@PeterMcCormack What do we do about people on minimum wage who can’t afford rent/basic goods? Maybe the reason people don’t go to your coffee shop is because they don’t have enough money? Do you think at all or just spout drivel?
