I am a devoted Sanatani and strongly believe in the Vedic philosophy, which helps me stay mentally strong, alert, and relevant. However, I am uncomfortable with public display, a serving chief visiting a temple and giving media interviews. We must recognize that secularism in the Army is not a voluntary principle but a systematic approach ingrained in training at academies and grooming in units, strongly supported by legal protections. What confuses me is that the chief is well aware of this. Is it due to government pressure or post-retirement benefits? I honestly don't know. We have yet to hear any statements regarding disability pensions or Agniveers, matters more critical to the armed forces.

#WATCH | Odisha: Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi says, "I am very grateful to have visited Puri today to receive the Lord's blessings. My main aim was to seek divine grace for the entire Indian Army squad and their families. Having offered my prayers, I am confident that the Army will continue to excel and reach new heights in the days ahead. I want to thank the city for its warm welcome; it is a matter of great pride for the country, and I felt a sense of deep peace and sanctity here. I hope to return every year to offer my respects at God's feet."

#BollywoodNews #ActressAffairs

I drive Uber on the night shift. You meet all kinds. Drunks, lovers, tired nurses. At 2 AM, I picked up a guy from a hospital. He got in the back, looking shell-shocked. Didn't say a word. We drove in silence for ten minutes. Then I heard a sniffle. I glanced in the rearview. He was staring out the window, tears streaming down his face. "Rough night?" I asked quietly. "My wife," he choked out. "She just... the cancer. She's gone." My heart stopped. I turned off the meter. "I'm not taking you home yet," I said. He looked up, confused. "What?" "You can't go to an empty house right now. Not yet." I pulled into an all-night diner. "Come on. Coffee and pie. On me." He hesitated, then nodded. We sat in that booth for three hours. He told me about her laugh. How they met. How she hated peas. I just listened. When I finally dropped him off at 6 AM, the sun was coming up. He shook my hand. "Thank you," he said. "For not making me be alone in the dark." I didn't make a dime that night. But it was the most important drive of my life. Anonymous

Now that you are seeing Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Qatar and more suffering damage due to Iranian missiles, remember what happened ten months ago in India. Pakistan had launched 300–400 Asisguard Songar Turkish Drones across 36 Indian locations in May 2025. Plus, another 600 or so - > Yiha-III Class Loitering Munitions. > Swarm drones and commercial quadcopters. > Fatah-II long-range missile. > Fatah-I Ballistic missile. > Chinese PL-15 long-range missiles from J-10C jets. These thousand drones and missiles could have killed thousands of civilians in India. Could have damaged airfields and defence establishments. They were targeting 1500+ km area in India. But almost every missile or drone was intercepted. We didn't see any major civilian casualties. Because India had two killer punches. The Russian S-400 and the Indian Akashteer defensive shields. Plus precise satellite input from ISRO. We should be ever thankful to great men like Prahlada Ramarao who gave India these massive life saving Akash missiles ✅ We don't thank them enough for keeping us safe in a hostile world.

If I had serious money today like Adani or Ambani level money I’d be making calls to Netherlands right now. Here’s why. ASML, the Dutch company with an ABSOLUTE MONOPOLY on extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines, just announced plans to fire 1700 employees. Let that sink in. The ONLY company in the world that makes the machines required to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips is letting go of 1700 people who literally know how to build the most sophisticated technology on the planet. This is not just a hiring opportunity. This is a semiconductor heist waiting to happen. WHY THIS MATTERS FOR INDIA? If you watched Think School’s latest video on Chip Wars, you know ASML is untouchable. TSMC, Intel, Samsung—everyone bows down to them because nobody else can make EUV machines. These machines cost $150-200 million EACH and take years to build. The technology is so complex that even China, with all its resources, couldn’t replicate it. And now 1700 people with this exact knowledge are potentially available. Here’s what smart money would do: Hire them. Not 10 or 20. Hire 500+ of them. Offer them 2x salaries. Give them equity. Build a world-class R&D facility in India or partner with existing semiconductor initiatives. Why? Because India is investing ₹76,000 crore in semiconductor manufacturing. We’re building fabs. We’re courting TSMC and Micron. But we’re still dependent on foreign technology for the most critical piece lithography machines. What if we didn’t have to be? This isn’t about competing with ASML tomorrow. That’s a 20-year play. This is about: → Acquiring rare talent that money usually cannot buy → Building indigenous capability in semiconductor equipment manufacturing→ Reducing strategic dependence on Western technology monopolies → Creating IP that could be worth billions in a decade The Adanis are already in semiconductors. Ambanis have deep tech ambitions. Tatas are building India’s semiconductor ecosystem. Any of them could pull this off. THE WINDOW IS CLOSING Here’s the thing about mass layoffs at monopoly companies: the talent doesn’t stay available for long. Competitors will poach them. They’ll scatter across different industries. The opportunity will vanish. Right now, there’s a brief moment where 1700 people who know how to build the world’s most advanced machines might be willing to take a bet on something new. That moment won’t last. What do you think? Is this a realistic play for Indian conglomerates, or am I being too optimistic about stealing ASML’s talent? Drop your thoughts below 👇

Spend a few days in any Tier 2 town and you’ll notice a pattern. E-rickshaws everywhere. Lined up outside stations, schools and markets. New cafes are opening every month. Food carts stretch along footpaths by evening. Momos, burgers, tea stalls, shawarma, juice counters. “Grand Opening” boards hanging next to another shop that shut last week. These are low-entry businesses where you don’t need a resume or HR approval. You only need some borrowed money, a small space or vehicle, and the urgency to earn. When the organised system doesn’t create enough jobs, the informal market absorbs people. Driving. Selling. Cooking. Delivering. It becomes the safety net. You can see the impact on the town's physical appearance. Carts spill onto footpaths. Public roads shrink as stalls extend outward. E-rickshaws crowd every junction, parked without order, waiting for the same few passengers. Traffic feels messy. Walking feels like negotiation. Most of these businesses are not built on deep passion. Instead, they are built out of necessity to make this month’s income, pay rent, and run the household. When you start a cafe because you love coffee, you think about beans, repeat customers, consistency, and ambience. When you start, because you need cash flow, you think about today’s sales. That’s why many food outlets struggle. Taste becomes inconsistent. Hygiene slips. Differentiation is weak. Margins are thin, and competition is next door. Within a year, shutters come down. Now imagine if manufacturing shifts to these towns at scale, with skilled jobs and steady salaries. Or imagine India doubling down on tourism and eco-tourism in these regions. Proper homestays. Trek circuits. River walks. Professionally trained local guides. Craft markets. Farm stays. Cultural tours. The same young man driving an e-rickshaw could work in a plant with predictable income. The food cart owner could run a licensed local cuisine stall for tourists who value authenticity and pay for quality. The cafe could serve travelers looking for a regional experience, not copied menus. When income becomes skill-based and stable, public spaces become more organized. Businesses think beyond survival. Standards improve. Cities look different. Right now, we’re seeing volume growth. More vehicles. More stalls. More boards. The shift will come when we see quality growth. Until then, the streets will continue to reflect the gap between aspiration and structure.
