Hey everyone, going to rip the bandaid off.
Today is my last day at Star Atlas.
The last few years have been the most fulfilling of my life serving you all. We’ve had the highest highs and the lowest lows, and I’ve grown so much as a human being. I owe a lot of that to Star Atlas and the community.

IMO, $TSLA institutional shareholders are highly unlikely to approve a dilutive transaction where $TSLA issues ~$800B in new shares to buy SpaceX at a P/E way above (400x) TSLA’s P/E (200x). Beside the dilution, a merger between TSLA and SpaceX creates too much uncertainty which is already high due to TSLA’s transition from being a highly profitable car company to a more speculative AI and robotics company. Institutions own 50% of $TSLA shares.

If there’s going to be a SpaceX IPO, a lot of $TSLA investors are going to sell some stock to get in on it. Elon will have two public companies to deal with (extra scrutiny, litigation exposure, earnings calls, etc.).
Tesla investors have wanted to own SpaceX shares for years. The future of Tesla, SpaceX and xAI are converging anyways with AI, data centers, robotics and manufacturing. Lots of shared resources between companies to be unlocked. Overhead reduced. Ownership and control consolidated. One crazy earnings call every quarter. Merge.

Good analysis. Foundation series was a fully optioned offering for our customers along with additional differentiation for these limited edition vehicles
Why would anyone think we would try to screw over our early adopters and excited customers? - just plain wrong. Like to squash this as lot of hardwork and love was poured by Tesla teams to ramp Cybertruck production and the best endgame is customer happiness
PS: For Cyberbeast: Off-road light bar was included, The universal wall connector was part of of powershare backup gateway bundle. Only Powershare mobile connector was included (not available to buy right now)

I'm so sick of seeing the dramatic news articles "Tesla DROPS THE PRICE OF THE TESLA CYBERTRUCK BY $20,000. SCREWS OVER EARLY ADOPTERS" Tesla did not drop the price of the Tesla Cybertruck by $20,000. They simply stopped selling the special edition "Foundation Series." The foundation series Cybertruck was a $20,000 add-on. If you do the math, you only paid a $2,410 premium to get the foundation series Cybertruck. The biggest benefit was getting it EARLY.
